Anyone else due this week ?

Just a board for people nearing or past due date. I'm a ftm and due Thursday with ds and beginning to get cranky and bored ! Please tell me I'm not alone !

I'm due tomorrow eek!! I can't actually believe it's come around so fast but I am definitely ready to get this baby out. I've been on Mat leave for 3 weeks and in that time I've moved house, sorted the nursery and rest of the house, Xmas shopped and wrapped all the presents and now I'm not sure what to do with my time.

I don't really want to be too far away from home just in case so I'm staying home but getting a bit bored now.

Have you had any dings labour may be close?

So happy I'm not alone ! I'm in exactly the same boat and to wish I'd stayed at work just for something to do! All I seem to do if forever. Clean dh seems to leave a constant trail of destruction behind him ! I've had a few pangs but all leading to nothing so feeling very frustrated how you ? Is your first? Any pangs?

A week to go too but I'm still at work. Had a few uncomfortable episodes, but nothing alarming. Hubby spoiling me rotten and I'm lapping it up. This is my third, but my youngest is 9 in the summer and my eldest is 11, so they are treating me like a first time mum, which is OK except I'm 40! I needed to buy EVERYTHING again and collected it from the shop at the weekend. So excited, but just ready to go.

Hello, I was due yesterday. I know rationally that a due date is a complete estimate and anything from 37 to 42 weeks is normal blah blah blah, but I don't want to hear it! I'd like this baby to be born today or tomorrow, no later! ha! I'm just excited and getting impatient now! Good luck everyone!

Oh wow ! It's amazing your still at work ! In absolute awe! I can just about get a few jobs done before falling asleep ! Awww lovely your getting spoilt ! Bet it's nice going through it all again ? Any idea what your having ? Can your hubby give mine some tips ?! I'm not sure mine knows how to spoil me ! He's working so much I'm lucky to see him !

Hello! Was due last Wednesday, but still no sign of arrival. Have dug in for the long haul- induction booked for Sunday if no movement by then.....

All incredibly frustrating, and really wish baby would just hurry up, especially as I have older DC and don't want to miss Xmas with them. Fingers crossed for lots of babies popping put this week!!

due today with DC2 and feeling sorry for myself! No signs of the little madam arriving anytime soon, and as DC1 was evicted at 42+2, I've lost all hope that I will experience natural labor. Am in the US, and technically still working, as my pitiful 12 week Mat Leave starts as soon as I leave work. I don't want to waste it now, but also don't want to drag my big belly out into the freezing cold (my coat doesn't cover my bump) and then packed onto the subway for a 40 minute commute, only to be greeted at work with "you're still here?" or "haven't you had that baby yet?"

Toddler at home is sensing the change about to happen, and is clingy and tantruming.

I'm actually trying to book induction for
this week, as I'm totally fed up and don't want to be the hospital for Xmas (we get kept in 48hrs after the birth). I think also for my sanity, I just need to know there is an end in sight!

I feel for all of you! Let's have these babies!!!

I'm due tomorrow too but very convinced baby is not arriving then... i am planning on end of next week mentally to keep me sane!! Want them to induce me early next week but don't think they will with Christmas etc. think they'll be waiting until 10 days.

On a side note, these last 2 days I have lost some weight - nearly a kilo - is that normal?! i have only gained 7.5kg the whole pregnancy so a little worried, will ask midwife tomorrow AM when I see her but was wondering if anyone else had experienced that?

Just got cracking BH's but they are uncomfortable rather than painful.

Gosh looks like there's a few of us ! Emma I'm sure I read somewhere you can loose a bit of weight at the end it's a sign things could be happening... ohhh I'm getting so frustrated with people saying 'no baby yet?" Clearly not....! I keep trying to bribe ds out with all these Christmas presents people have got us. Clearly not listening !

I know, I know people are trying to be nice / caring - but THEY WILL KNOW when the baby arrives... the texts / calls / emails asking if its come yet are driving me MAD!!!!

Not due this week but was in this exact situation two years ago. My DD will be two.on Thursday.

Hi All I'm due tomorrow but not felt any twinges yet! Not sleeping well due to waking myself up snoring! Hard to comprehend that it could well be another couple of weeks to go The texts and emails have started :-)

Are all of us still twiddling our thumbs ? He's due tomorrow an no sign apart from being quite quiet today. Oh I'm dreading waking up tomorrow and still no sign of him,bah ! Feeling very emotional about it all today ! How's evneryone else faring ? Xx

Hello! Just a quick one to update that Josh arrived yesterday lunchtime.

Contractions started on and off from 3 am but "properly" from 8am which meant we could get Ds1 down to nursery and not have to worry

Congratulations chocolateteabag what fab news ! We're in the same boat Applepiesky I'm due today and apart from ramming his head into my pelvis and some Braxton hicks nothing :-\ sweep tomorrow so fingers crossed !

You're so lucky having a sweep tomorrow. Mine is on the 27th... She offered to do one Xmas eve but I declined in case I was in labour Xmas day ... But you watch, ill end up going naturally over Xmas anyway ;-(

You are lucky you are getting a sweep tomorrow kimbaker1991, Applepiesky like you I was offered Christmas eve (41wks)... don't know why they wouldn't do that earlier (especially given its Christmas!)... I am not getting any signs either... BOO! Not sure whether to do the sweep on 24th or not... part of me doesn't want to wait part of me wants a nice Christmas.... AAAAAH! So unhelpful!

Very nervous mind... although I'm happy it's before xmas I'm just terrified I'll get in there and the midwife goes nope nothing happening still all closed up, I've been so uncomfortable and sore all day that I really hope the end is insight ! Oh well let's see what 9:30 tomorrow brings ! Xxx
