Anyone else due this week ?

Just a board for people nearing or past due date. I'm a ftm and due Thursday with ds and beginning to get cranky and bored ! Please tell me I'm not alone !

Not due till end of Jan, but having dc3 by c section this morning, eek.

Well I went, she couldn't even find my cervix it was so far back and said to just put it out of my head because he's not going anywhere fast. Looks like I'll be here another 2 weeks ladies ! Fingers crossed the rest of you have better luck than me ! Xx

Can I jump in? I'm due tomorrow! And no signs thy dd will be making an appearance apart from the really bad periody back pain that comes and goes but that's been happening all week!
I really wanted her here before Xmas but I really think I'll still be waiting in January!!
Hope all those waiting or are in labour get to meet their lil ones soon!

Zoogeek, people are knobs. I get so angry when people make comments about bad planning/Christmas birthdays etc etc. I'm due today with dc3 but no real signs yet!

I posted a mass post this morning via Facebook basically asking very nicely for people to back off. I had about 7 messages in 2 days asking if he was here from people who don't even talk to me normally and I thought enough is enough I feel scrap enough already without answering people daily !

That's a nice way of looking at it zoogeek, I've heard similar comments but with me things like that tend to get shrugged off although definitely getting more sensitive these last few weeks ! How's everyone getting on? Anymore good news ? Xx

Hahaha storm91 sounds like you've got it sussed! 40+4 now I've given up waiting I'm just going to sit back enjoy Xmas and enjoy having baby all to myself for the last week and a half !

Hi all I'm 40+3 and feeling really down. I feel huge and uncomfortable. I think I've had BH but not sure, just tightenings at top of bump that I can only feel when I touch it. Apart from that, absolutely nothing. I also had a failed sweep at 40 weeks. My cervix just wast ready.

I am so excited to meet my baby, why do I feel so down and moody!? I don't want to be grumpy and miserable!

I'm 38+2 and just finished work. I am so ready for the baby to come now and getting very cross at everyone telling me it will probably be another 3 or even 4 weeks. I know that's the case, but I am fed up of hearing it.

That said, I bet when labour does start I will be panicking and feeling nowhere near ready.

Haha well I've tried all the other stuff. Had enough now so going to enjoy the peace and quiet. I am so tired last couple days not sure why but all I wana do is sleep so I'm going to make the most of it.
Given dd 2 options. She either comes tonight or waits til after boxing day cos I want my Xmas dinner lol.

Ohhh congratulations black holes !!! That's fabulous news ! And just in time for Christmas! I'm majorly uncomfortable today I'm hoping it's something but most likely I've just overdone it today ! Good luck everyone still waiting ! Curious if any of us have Xmas babies ! Xx

So, kimbaker1991 inspired me to ask for a sweep on Friday on the grounds I was MAJORLY uncomfortable and at 40+4... that was at 1.30pm, contractions started 8pm on Friday and Baby Frederick was born at 9.30pm on Saturday! Much bigger than expected at 8lbs (apparently I have been "measuring small" my whole pregnancy and was only 37cm bump when I had the sweep) but it turns out that doesn't dictate a small baby! SO relieved... hope things are getting going for you guys? If not, seriously enjoy Christmas!

Not a Christmas day baby but a boxing day one Henry was born at 12 this afternoon 8lbs 4 hours in Labour total only 2 hours in the hospital ! Barely caught my breath ! Xxx

kimbaker1991 that is AWESOME news! I was thinking of you yesterday - so pleased you had a good labour - must have made the wait slightly more worthwhile... well that an the lovely Henry! CONGRATULATIONS! x
