I've got both mine. Have no clue what I'm going to actually do with them... Perhaps I will turn into that mum who gets them out at inappropriate moments (new bf/gf of dc, say) and say ' see that? That's you, that is'

Hmm...

CitrusyOne · 02/12/2013 22:19

Nope. Straight in the bin. I'd pissed on them, why would I want them in my underwear draw Grin

DaleyBump · 02/12/2013 22:24

Yes! Had DS on Friday and his cord is about to fall off, I'm such a saddo that I'm really going to struggle to throw it away. It's a disgusting bit of dead tissue for god sake!

BikeRunSki · 02/12/2013 22:28

I've got mine. And my wristbands from being in hospital with hyperemisis, scan pics, baby grows, cardigans, cards, baby ID ankle bands...

Littlebean13 · 02/12/2013 22:30

Guilty! Dp keeps asking me when I'm throwing it away because it's gross to keep it haha but it's sentimental to me. Think I'm going to put it in a memory box along with first curls and first tooth.

ShoeWhore · 02/12/2013 22:35

Me too, I've put them in their memory boxes Blush They're going to think that's gross aren't they? Grin

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:36

They do have lids. Might well have binned them if not.

The cord, oh no. Smelly and a bit scary. Straight in the nappy bag.

One thing I wish I had done as is so easy these days is take a picture every day.

I've got my two - 16 and 12 years on. Also have dd's cord and clamp. Ds's came off in hospital so I didn't get to keep that one.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:38

Congratulations daley!

I threw mine away, I showed it to DP and he was all "man you have peed on that". Dipped it in a cup of wee actually.

It's strange to think the pregnancy test I was so overwhelmed by is lying in some landfill with its two little lines.

He was pleased though, despite his lack of enthusiasm for things with my wee on them.

cookielove · 02/12/2013 22:41

I have thrown all but one away from my recent and only pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. I thought I had got rid of them all when I was upset after discovering the baby had died. But I found it the other day and haven't quite managed to let this one go!

MoreCrackThanHarlem · 02/12/2013 22:45

Yes.
Dd is 13 on Wednesday.
Looked at it tge other week and noticed what appeared to be black mouldy spots growing in the window bit. Nice.

It does have a lid though.
It's in dd's memory box.

SaucyJack · 02/12/2013 22:46

I've still got mine. I kept just so I had something to reassure myself that I was really pregnant in the first few months. 28 weeks now tho and I'm fully in acceptance that there's a person in there fat chance she'd ever let me forget so I can probably bin it soon.

DramaAlpaca · 02/12/2013 22:49

I've kept all mine. DC are now 16, 18 & 20 Blush

ToucanBlack · 02/12/2013 22:50

Mine's in my knicker draw too! DD is 13 months, not ready to let it go yet Smile

DaleyBump · 02/12/2013 22:51

Thank you Fast!

Flowers cookie.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:51

So sorry cookie that's totally understandable.

Mould? Well that might help the binning process along.

ouryve · 02/12/2013 22:52

Hell no. Nor have I kept umbilical cord stumps or lost teeth.

Though DS2 has swallowed 3 out of his first 4, so it's a good job I wasn't bent on collecting them.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:52

Any mould alpaca?

Florin · 02/12/2013 22:54

My ds is 17 months and mine is still in my knicker drawer. No way I could throw it out, it took us nearly 2 years to get that line!
Umbilical cord however went in the bin. It freaked both dh and I out-yuck!

FrameyMcFrame · 02/12/2013 22:55

Yes!

LastOneDancing · 02/12/2013 22:56

I've kept mine, even though I can remember being all Confused when my friends said they'd kept theirs before.

It's different when it's your own wee Grin
