I've got both mine. Have no clue what I'm going to actually do with them... Perhaps I will turn into that mum who gets them out at inappropriate moments (new bf/gf of dc, say) and say ' see that? That's you, that is'

Hmm...

Noooooo! Why would you want to?? TBH, I didn't even keep them for DH to see (tested positive for DD1 whilst he was away for work). He trusted me when I said I was pg Smile

Scan pictures, yes. Piss-soaked pregnancy sticks, no.

HomeIsWhereTheGinIs · 04/12/2013 10:36

Good grief, really? Is this a thing? Mine went straight in the bin - a urine-soaked stick seems to be an odd thing to keep and I can't say I'd have been thrilled if my mother had whipped one out when I was a teenager.

I used CB digital for DD and the reading fades. Threw it away this time.

Ubik1 · 04/12/2013 11:51

Are you all insane? You keep sticks you have pissed on?

LastOneDancing · 04/12/2013 17:53

I KNOW it's gross Grin I just can't throw the source of such massive joy/ fear/ anticipation in the bin just yet! Anyway, i's not smelly, piss soaked & oozing all over the contents of my bedside drawer!

I will chuck it when I have irrefutable evidence of a baby in my arms, how's that? Grin

PoopMaster · 04/12/2013 17:57

Really? That is the icky part of us lot having a baby? Grin

I dunno, after cleaning up an explosive poo maybe your world view changes, I don't find the POAS icky. Anyway, the bit you pee on on mine (which I would hope has dried by now) is under the plastic lid-thing which came with it. I wondered why they bothered with this aspect of "presentation", must be for us weirdos Wink

It's not something I would show the DCs or house guests...I just like remembering how it felt when that line appeared all that time ago when I didn't know any better

flatmum · 04/12/2013 19:15

I seem to remember giving all mine a quick rinse under the tap if that makes anyone feel better ..

PenguinsDontEatPancakes · 04/12/2013 19:18

Poop- to be fair I don't keep the explosive poo, vomit or assorted ick in my bedside drawer either Grin

earlgray · 04/12/2013 19:27

I took a picture of the pee stick, with dh in the background. Stick went
in the bin!

PoopMaster · 04/12/2013 20:10

Penguins I can't fault your logic Grin

I quite like earl's idea...though I very much doubt DH will now pose with our old ones may remember this for next time he breaks out the whisky
