Cbeebies, happy and quiet means terrible things are happening, but sometimes it's worth it. Reminds me of the time that DS was playing peacefully, and I discovered that he'd decorated our mattress all round with little blobs of hand cream. It was that green Bodyshop hemp one, so I still see the marks every time I change the sheets. Happy days.

Just taking a minute from my very emotional DH to say all was well at the scan. Baby bang on dates, low NT and even had a birthday wave for daddy. V v relieved

yes all good here too! I was a complete nervous wreck - cried in the scan room and then couldn't stop crying when she showed me the heart beat. She measured the little bean at 8wks (I thought I was 8.4 ... don't think I need to worry..) Its a good day! Can't believe how relieved I am - this one has just got to stay. I've actually booked in to go next week too - cos i'm a neurotic wreck!

So glad all others scans good. I held it together really well until I saw willy cam and then just lost the plot. I think I blurted out just don't keep me waiting!!! She was v lovely though altho could tell she thought I was batshit!

Emki - seriously don't let it worry you. I was scanned at 8+5, they measured me at 8. Then at my 12 week scan, they actually brought me forward by one day from my original! So don't worry, your dates are probably right.

Thanks for all the cheerleading for baby pink. Am feeling much more positive today, and full ready to become some sort of crazy earth mother and pop this baby! Just going to collect together a baby 'encouragement' kit, and start trying to roll on labour from 38 weeks (after my birthday party).

Shell, how are you getting on? Any signs? I know you were planning on a lot of 'encouragement' too?

Sorry to read that some of the ladies nearly there are finding it hard to believe you'll get a baby at the end of this but just try and think positive! But Santa is right in what she says.

Not much interesting to post my side other than handed in matb1 this week and counted that I now gave 57 working days left! That sounds like ages away but I'm sure it will go quickly.

More good scan news from me. Baby growing well and currently 6lb 13oz. Been signed off by the consultant back to community midwives.

MAJOR panic! and a small case of baby brain!
I just had a wee and was momentarily HORRIFIED to see that the loo was full of bright red!!
Then it dawned on me that I had recently tipped the contents of yesterdays veg dish down the loo! Tinned tomatoes!
You can now all point and shout "twat"!

I just got my matb1 today too (a little late as work wanted it last week) so the countdown is on - 42 days left! And that's not including any time out for apps and half day Fridays for aqua natal :)
