JanieLovesLuckySocks · 18/10/2013 19:56

Thank you Santa Smile I really hope so. If it came to it I could do him more damage than he could ever do to me as I know too much about his scum bag ways, although I couldn't be arsed and would rather just get what I'm owed. Fingers crossed eh!

I'm now full of dominos and feeling a good bit happier!

jmf294 · 18/10/2013 19:56

Thanks for the new thread Saggy!
May we all have an uneventful happy time on this thread and thoughts always to those who have left us.

I need to change my stats- I'm due 5th dec and will have a c-sec the week before- yikes!!
Still not bought anything but will get work finished first.

Janie- sorry your work problems continue , love the 'cockglobin' !! Don't back done and hopefully he will see you are serious. Is it something ACAS could help with?

Love your daughters reaction Pixie- I'm sure she will be delighted when the baby comes.

Good scan news medusa.

Hope the GP was helpful cbeebies.

Happy weekend ladies xx

LuckySocks13 · 18/10/2013 20:05

Janie so sorry to hear the issues you are having at work. Huge clock goblin indeedy!
Not the best day today for me. Went to see gp this morning as I've been a bit uncomfortable down below. Turned out I have protein in urine and blood pressure high so another trip to the hospital! Am home now as all seems to have settled down but been told not to over do things! Bit hard with rest and relaxation with a grumpy 3 year old. Little monkey drew all over the walls last night! Never done such a thing before!

TeaAndANatter · 18/10/2013 20:49

Lucky, my youngest wrote 'bum' on her friend's pencil case last week. I'm so ashamed! If it wasn't for the eldest being a perfect child, I'd be doubting my parenting with this one. Little tyke.

SaggyIsHavingAPinkKitten · 18/10/2013 22:38

Lucky my DS who was 3 'regressed' when DD was born. He went from dry in the day to randomly peeing around the house and not sleeping. Maybe your LO is doing aomwthing similar.

I think so Saggy. He is 3:7 and he has been really clingy last few weeks. Keeps saying I'm not a big boy. I keep telling him he's my best boy. Having a girl this time so that works! He tells me he wants a boy baby not a girl baby! Other times of the day he is so sweet kissing my belly and saying hello my little sister. Just a big change I guess.

IBelieveInPink · 18/10/2013 23:17

Oh bollocks. Baby turned over again. She just doesn't like being head down. Best get reading about the sunroof option....

Angloamerican · 18/10/2013 23:54

Thanks for the new thread - but I think ThePFJ asked to be removed from the stats list.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am feeling crappy again...

GardenWorm · 19/10/2013 07:14

Thanks for the new thread Saggy x

What's up Anglo? A problem shared... x

Cbeebs I hope you are feeling a bit better even if it's just because you are taking steps to speak to the GP, go with your gut instinct x

Snot/Pig how did your scan go?

Janie perhaps you could offer cockgoblin a nice facial exfoliation.... On a pebble dashed wall! Ooops. Evil twin came out. Please don't!

Pink I seem to vaguely remember your other half being a fan of swimming, can you get to the pool and do some handstands? I would drown if I tried it myself but then my main aim of swimming is to not get my face wet Don't panic too much, there is plenty of time for turning, mine is still all over the place and on the plus side it probably means you are not having a hippo (how many hippos have you seen doing somersaults?) Smile

Thanks for the responses to my retained placenta whinge, I will get over it (and won't care once baby starts battle and does a bit of caving escapology!)

Ooh there are some babies COMING!!!! Whoop Whoooop! (and I only have 3 more days at work Grin)

GardenWorm · 19/10/2013 07:16

BUM

Sorry had the childish urge to write it after reading Tea's post. You've got to love them!

IBelieveInPink · 19/10/2013 07:32

Ooh good memory garden - v impressive! And hippos doing somersaults - yes- have you seen fantasia?! :) baby was literally trying to break out last night - legs and arms everywhere. At least she is growing strong!!

Anglo - hope you okay

ChristineDaae · 19/10/2013 09:05

Janie your work are such a nightmare! Don't let the bastards get you down. Be an angry pregnant chick, they'll be too scared to argue with you for long Wink
Great news on the scan medusa.
Ibip, hope baby turns back soon.
Getting exciting reading the stats lost now. But a bit scary that once all the November lot have gone there's not much more to go for me. I don't feel prepared for his baby at all. With DD I hadn't started buying things yet (after all the trouble at the 20 week scan I didn't want to tempt fate and left it till about 30 weeks) but this time I haven't even thought about it. I still don't quite believe I'm getting a baby at the end of this.

BumpKitty · 19/10/2013 09:25

Morning :)

Yes ibip get thee to a pool, it worked for me!

janie what a complete arse, I'm hoping he develops some integrity over the weekend and its all sorted out, failing that take him to a tribunal!

garden snap 3 days left for me too, then just half term with a toddler to contend with ( CM doesn't work at half term :( ).

I'm 37 weeks today so the baby is fully cooked Grin and I've been having a few period type pains! I'm not ready baby, stay in a bit longer. A good friend of mine is due in April and is far more organised than me already!

BlackholesAndRevelations · 19/10/2013 09:26

Hi all. Sorry about work issues etc. Hope you went to the gp cbeebies and he or she helped x

ChristineDaae · 19/10/2013 09:46

Oh no - DP has woke up this morning achy all over, hot and cold shivers, the works. Is it too early in the year for flu? I just got my jab on Wed but apparently it takes up to 2 weeks to work.

GardenWorm · 19/10/2013 10:45

Oooh Bump! Exciting! However I too am totally unprepared so know exactly what you mean Smile

Pink I still don't recall David Attenborough watching somersaulting hippos so I think you'll be ok Grin

Christine could it be 'man flu'??!!!

GuffSmuggler · 19/10/2013 11:11

Hi all, checking in. Thanks for the new thread saggy.

Oh no christine stay away from him but hopefully is just a bad 'man cold' and nothing too serious.

janie sorry work are being crap Sad you just want to feel supported in PG but unfortunately some workplaces don't give a crap.

My bump suddenly feels massive! I can't believe I'm only 20 weeks, I suddenly look huge. Am loving being PG though, I am SO proud of my bump this time since the MC, just feels so special. I bought some nice new maternity clothes on Thurs and am loving wearing them. I'm going to be massive though there is no too ways about it.

We're having a big sort out at home today, still got loads of stuff unpacked from the move. Going to reward ourselves with take-away tonight.... mmmnnnn what shall we have???

andthepiggotupandslowlywalkeda · 19/10/2013 11:16

Janie, sorry you've got work being arses on top of everything else.

12 week scan yesterday, and I was fine until an hour before when the wibbles started big time, but I had a very nice sonographer (and a very nice doctor who was learning to do ultrasound), and... there they both were, wiggling about, and waving their arms and sucking thumbs. Aaaah!

GardenWorm · 19/10/2013 11:38

YEY YEY YEY! Pig, great news!

And so you should be proud of your bump Guff! Go Chinese tonight Smile

SaggyIsHavingAPinkKitten · 19/10/2013 12:50

I was just coming on to post just what Guff said. Im 19 weeks. I suddenly feel huge, "a great big waddling duck" dprang to mind a while ago! and Im totally knackered! im only half way!!! Confused

Another huge 20 wker here - people at work keep making this face when I say I'm not due til March Shock

My MIL just referred to DD's singing as 'interminable' I looked it up to make sure it meant what I thought it did:

in·ter·mi·na·ble
[in-tur-muh-nuh-buhl]
1.
incapable of being terminated; unending: an interminable job.
2.
monotonously or annoyingly protracted or continued; unceasing; incessant: I can't stand that interminable clatter.
3.
having no limits: an interminable desert.

Angry She's only here for 48hrs ffs most gps would find it cute!

Have packed them off for the afternoon to enjoy a bit of peace.

Angloamerican · 19/10/2013 15:04

Thanks, everyone. Just nausea...it went away for a few days but now it's back. I was worried when I felt good but I'm feeling sorry for myself now it's back. There's no pleasing me!

Pixielady83 · 19/10/2013 15:19

reading my effective birth preparation book- so far so good, it's not too airy fairy. Reminded me of a question I had for saggy you said you were going to refuse canula, early epidural etc. The mw was absolutely insistent with me that they will stick me with a canula as soon as I'm in active labour. I really don't want this and don't think its necessary. But how can I refuse if they insist without a situation where I create a lot of tension and possibly ill feeling when I'm trying to stay calm? I'm not very good at confrontation and am a bit of a people pleaser usually Blush (apart from at work that is! but at work I'm usually really confident in my position if I'm challenging people). Thoughts appreciated! I know from last time that when I got panicky and anxious the contractions got much worse so keen to avoid a stand up row with medics.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 19/10/2013 15:55

I lost you all Sad happy to hav found you again!
I'm waiting at ikea for dh to turn up, I've just finished uni and thought we could do a bit of shopping!

Feeling much better, am back on my own little low carb low sugar diet and eating small amounts of sugar when I feel irritable and ready to kill someone. And I am feeling so much better! Hoping to get hold of the gp on Monday, fx!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 19/10/2013 15:56

There was a littl bit more to that but it got missed off Halloween Confused
I'll catch up with everyone else's news when I'm not stood in te rain in the car park!
