Excellent news ladies!!!! Soooo pleased for you all xxx

Who has felt their bean moving? Can I ask when to expect?

Lieslvontrapp · 23/10/2013 19:20

Hi fod I didn't feel anything until just before 20 wks. And it's only been since 22 1/2 wks that I've started to feel something everyday and DH felt from the outside for the first time at 23+6.

WhatWillSantaBring · 23/10/2013 19:30

I felt DC1 at about 17 weeks but then this one not till 21 weeks, and its only since 29 weeks that I've felt regular movements which has not freaked me out at all, no, not one bit

So much happy news today - whoop whoop! baking positive thoughts coming your way. I'd say a prayer for you but you don't need it (though I may have snuck some sneaky ones in) xx

Tomkat79 · 23/10/2013 19:37

Great news lucky. Nice one penguin, you belong on the stats. And no, no willy cam today. It's just attached to the scanner and freaked me out as same machine as one back in May.

TeaAndANatter · 23/10/2013 20:02

Hi fod, I may or may not be feeling wee fish tail waves now (15 weeks), but I didn't feel it until 16.5 last time, and about 18 with no 1. It may be third time-ness, but I'm sure I can feel it in the top of my vagina and I def couldn't before (no comments on saggy uterus, thanks!).

Probably again due to third time-ness, but I look huge. I got offered a seat on the Metro this and last week, and you need to look like you're about to birth to get offered usually! I didn't show at all (except to me) with the first until about 18 weeks, and with the second it was about the same I think. Now I'm hippo mama. Oink.

Good news scanners!

fod27 · 23/10/2013 20:53

Thanks ladies, I'm 18 weeks and DH and ME have both claimed to have felt movements - I've had that (was that it or,,?) feeling but nothing I'm certain of ;( I look 6 months along and this to is my third

fod27 · 23/10/2013 21:09

Grrrr #MW

Polka2 · 23/10/2013 21:20

Great scan news as someone else said a good day for us today Smile Good luck for tomorrow baking I'm sure you are going thru it right now but all the stars are aligned....you made it onto a second thread AND you didn't start it, that's gotta work in your favour Smile Will be thinking of you x

Hey pink I'm not too good I'm afraid PGP is bad and I'm being sick again everyday now and the Braxton hicks are so intense I'm fed up! Just want this baby to come now Confused Thanks for asking and sorry for moaning Grin

GuffSmuggler · 23/10/2013 21:32

Horray tomkat and emki!! Lovely lovely scan news day.

kat I think it feels like wind in the early days, you know that sensation when you feel like there is a bubble of air in you trying to travel down your digestive system and get out, so you're waiting to fart but you don't and realise it might actually be your baby!! Grin Blush

baking this whole thread is standing with you willing good news tomorrow, you so deserve it. Hope you manage to sleep tonight.

I felt DS fluttering at 15 weeks. Like an internal fart definitely!

shellsocks · 23/10/2013 21:56

I felt DS at 15+6 and this baby at 17+5....with DS it was like someone tapping their fingers up and down the inside of my tummy and with this one it was kicks straight away Smile

kat I was signed off at 29w with PGP and started maternity leave officially last week so have been able to rest a bit thanks Smile

BumpKitty · 23/10/2013 22:19

Brilliant scan news Grin hope all you scanees still have silly grins on your faces!

Good luck for tomorrow baking you have all of us rooting for you :)

Twas my last day of work today Grin it feels a bit odd, even though I have been counting down for months! My boss asked me to hand my car park pass in but I said no as I don't think they are allowed to take it off me - like if i had a company phone or a car I would keep it for my maternity leave. The pass is really useful as it means I can park in town for free at the weekend and i had to wait over 3 years to get one so I would probably never see it again if I did hand it in. What do the HR people think - AIBU? I do feel a bit of a shit for saying no as someone else could use it whilst I wasn't there but really work should just order some more passes so that everyone who needs one has one - and considering there are loads of people who don't work there anymore that still have them I think they should work on getting those ones back a bit more.

Sorry that was all very dull and self indulgent! Right maternity leave here I come!

ScabbyOozingCarbuncle · 23/10/2013 22:19

Ive just started feeling movement. (20 weeks tomorrow) I have an anterior placenta, so its much later than with the last two. Ihe been getting prodded in the bladder today! Confused

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 23/10/2013 23:08

awesome scan news ladies!!! excellent couple of days :)

baking i have everything possible crossed for you for tomorrow, you so deserve good news xx

shell i'm so sorry you're feeling so rubbish. but not long to go and in a flash you'll hopefully e able to forget all the rubbish bits when you have your little bundle staring into your eyes :) so close!

congrats on your maternity leave bump!!! i'm 2 days behind you!! i have no HR brain but i rekon stick to your guns on the parking pass, especially if others who have left still have theirs!! hope you have a lovely day planned for tomorrow doing pretty much nothing or as close to it as poss!! i was thinking today how odd it will be to be off. in 11.5 years i haven't had more than 2 weeks off work in one go...although i hate it, i might kinda miss the routine...although i know much more fun things are on their way :)

i'm just home from the Chic concert - was bloody brilliant!!! i danced the whole time and feel fecking super for doing it!! i think that might also be down to the disco nap and strong coffee i had before i went!! the baby started kicking loads when they did 'We are family'!!!! no joke!! i think it knows it's coming out soon :) no doubt i'll be like a bloody zombie tomorrow but it's my penultimate day at work so i don't really care :) feeling damn posifrickintive tonight - i'm spreading the posifrickintiveness to everyone who needs it xxxxxxxxx

IBelieveInPink · 23/10/2013 23:15

Shell - oh you poor love! I have noticed my pgp has got worse since baby has dropped a big (or maybe just got bigger?!) so I can't imagine what yours is like considering you've been signed off so long. Have you thought Bout trying reflexology/accupuncturr to get baby on the move? I've heard good reports if you really want baby here...

Bump - yay for your first day of leave! Debateable over the car pass - depends if it is considered work equipment (not needed on leave) or a staff benefit (shouldn't be taken away). I'd stick to your guns if you want it, Especially if they just being lazy not ordering more and there are plenty of spaces (I.e you wouldn't be preventing another employee using the resource, they just need to order a pass)

Ooh, one week today will be my last day. Can't wait!

IBelieveInPink · 23/10/2013 23:16

Sorry and forgot - baking will be thinking of you tomorrow lovely. It is your turn for goodness now. X

fod27 · 23/10/2013 23:30

Thinking of you tomorrow baking xxxx just think this time tomorrow it'll all be over and you can finally relax ;) cxxxxx

GardenWorm · 24/10/2013 06:31

Morning!

Baking sending you lots of love and posifrickintivity today, can't remember if you have already said but what time is your scan? X

Congrats on fab scan news all round yesterday. It's so good to hear. Lucky was it you that got signed off by the consultant? Well done Smile

Shell sick every day?! Yuk. But I reckon someone is making moves. I really hope they are x

Bump there is a load of stuff I'm meant to do/give back before I leave work (none as exciting as a free car park ticket!) but won't because it's flippin ridiculous and like you I know it will be a ball ache to get them back when I return. If no one asks i have no intention of doing it!

Janie fab night, hope you aren't suffering this morning.

I only have 1 day left at work (Friday) planning to do nowt other than by them cakes and leave early! Have recruited my 2 yr old into attempts at nesting i.e. she goes through her piles of old baby clothes and jabbers on about when she was a baby whilst generally making a mess! Must change tactics Grin

Bakingtins · 24/10/2013 06:40

thanks everyone. You'd make awesome cheerleaders ! Scan is at 2.15.

Bumblebzz · 24/10/2013 07:37

Good luck today BakingTins, I feel for you and the worry you must be going through (did you manage to get any sleep!?) but all will be fine. Is this your first scan, how many weeks are you? BTW I think I recognise you from a mc thread earlier in the year.
I'll be checking the thread later to read your good news.
Xx
PS Has anyone got good tips for nausea/ms..?! Am finding it hard to get through the working day, plus waking up at night with horrible waves of it !

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 24/10/2013 07:50

Baking, thinkin I you too. Good luck x

Pixielady83 · 24/10/2013 07:56

Great scan news everyone! Smile. tins really hope all is good with you today.

shell it sounds like things might be happening for you! fingers crossed it kicks off properly soon.

Yay for all the ladies on mat leave! hope you get lots of me time Smile

No news here, although I have had to admit defeat on my walk to the station in the mornings and start taking taxis. My hips and pelvis were just getting too sore and although I miss my walk it was a mile and I do want to stay in work until Christmas so starting to ease on it is hopefully going to help. Still walking 10min walk to work at other end so getting a bit of exercise at least. I can't believe how heavy and awkward I feel already at only 21 wks Confused

fod I felt DD at 14wks, this baby at 16 but not regularly until 19wks.
