Congratulations pentagon! Sounds like you had a wonderful birth, so pleased for you...enjoy the newborneness while it lasts!

shell, ds1 is ok with him now. Likes to watch him feed, but if I dare touch ds2 when he's grumpy all hell breaks loose. Ds1 has dropped his nap which is fun, hope your house is clear of the cold soon.

Good luck with the jabs anda, they didnt offer the rotovirus to ds1 when he was new but it was the easiest one to watch ds2 getting!

So whose next for a'popping or a'scaning? So lovely to catch up on all the progress (and seeing all the new faces!).

Bakingtins · 24/10/2013 22:38

Congratulations Pentagon! Flowers

Tomkat79 · 24/10/2013 22:46

Congratulations pentagon lovely news and so pleased to read you had such a great birth. Enjoy! Xxx

IBelieveInPink · 24/10/2013 22:54

Oooooh - bump you are next!!!! Eek! Although shell hoping you aren't far behind as you sound like you in agony.
Then me and bod can have a pushing race on the 16th :)

IBelieveInPink · 24/10/2013 22:56

Although to be fair garden janie and lucky could throw us all by jumping the queue!! :)

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 24/10/2013 23:01

Oi enough of that talk mrs pink!!! I don't even have a Moses basket yet!! Crikey!!

IBelieveInPink · 24/10/2013 23:06

Might wanna get that sorted ;) babies have started popping!!!

Bodicea · 24/10/2013 23:07

Pink the race is on!!!! This bambino is coming early - I am sure of it. Multiple braxton hicks at weekend and midwives reckons it feels like an 8 pounder already!! There is nowhere left for it to go but out!

andadietcoke · 24/10/2013 23:07

pentagon yay! Congratulations! Another pink thread baby. So pleased for you. Please let us know the name, and enjoy your snuffly newborn snuggles (my very snuffly Sophie is all curled up on me sleeping. It's so lovely).

jmf I KNOW!! Amazing how quickly it's gone. DH has been off for half term this week and I remember how far away it seemed when he went back to work just after they were born!

BumpKitty · 24/10/2013 23:08

Oh wow a baby! Huge congratulations pentagon that all sounds absolutely fantastic, I'll order one of those labours please Grin

I can't believe I'm top of the list!
Right, I must get off my arse and write something on my birth plan! I think maybe :- experienced midwife to help me to reduce risk of another third degree tear, water birth if possible and no procedures 'just in case' I think that's it really.

One of my yoga class had her baby on Monday, it was her first and she was 34 weeks Shock he's fine though and was 5lbs 5 so not bad for 34 weeks.

baking so glad you saw a hb, look after yourself xx

BumpKitty · 24/10/2013 23:11

And a big wave to anda 8 weeks!! it's bloody awful watching them being jabbed, it brings out the mother tiger instinct of wanting to smack the nurse Grin. And aww to snuffly babies :)

fod27 · 25/10/2013 02:59

pentagon that's mint!!!!! Dead dead pleased for you!!! What a long and rewarding journey huni xxxx

Penguinita · 25/10/2013 05:51

Hooray pentagon, how amazing! congratulations! Sounds like a great birth too, we'd all like one like that please!

Big congrats to you too tins, that must be so good to know! look after yourself.

Welcome winkly! Come join us here, you'll fit right in Smile

I've been up since 4am thanks to my over active bladder. Not that I'm complaining much . Just wondering how much cleaning I can get done without waking up DH...

I discovered yesterday that a bacon butty seemed to cure my morning nausea. I'm not sure that is a very sensible daily solution though! Grin

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 25/10/2013 07:10

Oooh penguin. I'm sat here feeling sick (although haven actually been sick yet ever Sad) and that sounds like it would cure it all! Except, I know the carb element would actually make te sickness worse, so it's not good. Gah. I give up.

Chocolateteabag · 25/10/2013 07:13

Wow congratulations Pentagon!! Will be searching back through the thread to check when you were due. And only 4 hours eek! Looking forward to hearing the name Flowers

I have been having panics this week about mine coming early after posting on here about not having done anything to prepare Grin

Half day today and then 4 days to work next week. Then I WILL start the prep (at least get the Moses basket, out and stick a wash on of clothes)

LuckySocks13 · 25/10/2013 07:23

Yey Pentagon :D great news on the safe arrival of bubba. Always such lovely news but even more so after what we have been through.

Did I mention after my scan Thursday my little pink squish is already estimated at weighing in at 6lb 13 Oz!

Janie - I have a Moses basket but need a new mattress. In need of basics too like old big knickers, snacks, sheets for cot etc but just haven't had the energy to sort it all! Think il make some lists and get DH on the case of some things. Not the knickers though! Goodness knows what if end up with!

Great news from Tins :)

LuckySocks13 · 25/10/2013 07:24

New knickers! Not old!

Polka2 · 25/10/2013 08:01

Pentagon huge congratulations! Hope you've got over the shock now and enjoying cuddles with your little pink bundle!Grin

Bumblebzz · 25/10/2013 08:09

Congrats BakingTins on the happy scan results, it must have been an emotional roller coaster yesterday (and still is no doubt!).
And congrats Pentagon on your lovely new baby and its always great to hear positive birth stories.

I bought anti-sickness bands yesterday which seemed to have helped a teeny bit, though brushing my teeth is still guaranteed to make me retch (yuck!). Feeling ever so slightly brighter this week (6w2d today). Which of course makes me shit myself as symptoms suddenly disappearing was what happened just before my mc.

I finally gave in and made a GP appt for when I am 7w5d weeks (week after next) and if I get that far i'll try and book a scan that week as well at 8w. I'm guessing its easy enough to get scan appts as people can't always book that far in advance, but am I wrong?

pgchimp · 25/10/2013 08:22

congrats to pentagon on the baby and baking on the scan.
welcome winkly.

I went to the doctor yesterday at 8 weeks. he was so old fashioned! he actually said estimated date of confinement, is that normal? No early scan for me as 1 mc is not statistically significant (although of course it is for me!). Now I have to choose between three hospitals, any advice on how I go about that?

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 25/10/2013 08:29

Heehee lucky I had am image if you going round the charity shops to look for big old knickers!! I got some in asda, big tummy earners that come almost up to my boobs ha!! Tres glam!! My mums friend is to give us a Moses basket so hopefully she hasn't forgotten. Need to get the mattress though. I read somewhere that normal pillowcases are brilliant for Moses basket sheets! Perfect fit apparently!!

Pentagon I hope you and your little geometric family had a lovely night, are you home already?

Can't wait, although I really am going to miss being pregnant, I'm trying to cherish every tummy rub Smile

Last day at work today, feels about like I'm being released from prison after an 11 yr sentence!! Celebrating by getting my legs waxed woohoo!!

Lieslvontrapp · 25/10/2013 08:36

Pentagon fantastic news that you have your little girl safely in your arms! Birth sounds like a great experience too! Well done!

Nice to hear from gary & anda too. Good to hear you and your little ones are doing well.

So then whose next!

Penguinita · 25/10/2013 08:49

Oops. I just had severe abdominal cramps for the last hour, convinced myself something was terribly wrong, called the doctors surgery who are getting the nurse to call me back. Then I just did a huge trump and the pain has all gone. How am I going to explain that one to the nurse? Blush

Tomkat79 · 25/10/2013 08:57

Ha pengiun I was the same this morning. It's so uncomfortable though and really painful. Haven't been to loo for 6 days Shock Tell nurse the truth, she should laugh...it's Friday!

LuckySocks13 · 25/10/2013 08:58

Lol penguin :)

Happy last day at work Janie

PGChimp- you could always consider a private scan for reassurance. I had one plus nhs ones too. Lol at your old fashioned gp and his funny words!

Bumble you will be fine for a scan date. They squeezed me in Thursday for an extra growth scan
