i am due 15th of october and i am bored. I may eat myself to death... i keep thinking 'only two more weeks' but i so know its really going to be closer to 4... watching with interest!

Smerlin · 01/10/2013 14:11

Can I join in the complaining! 3 weeks to go and feel like it is never going to end!

Had a pregnancy massage yesterday (which was bliss) and have 3 coffee with friends trips planned for the rest of this week but that still leaves soooo many hours a day to fill!

Just repacked hospital bag so is more organised.

If this baby goes overdue I will NOT be happy!

GreenGiant3 · 01/10/2013 14:32

Hi OP ! Smile I'm due November 3rd Grin cannot wait, I'm so bored of waiting, I hve everything sorted (nearly) but nesting has gotten the better of me so far, since Saturday I have glossed all skirting's and door frames in my home, ordered a new living room carpet and cleaned in placed that haven't been done in yonks (kitchen cupboards that type of thing) I plan on glossing all doors this week, just trying to keep myself busy but also wanting to make sure everything is done for when baby arrives as it will be a while before I can be bothered to deep clean the home or redecorate Grin DP worries I'm doing too much so I've stopped telling him everything I've been doing Wink I know my limits!

Have you got your hosp bag ready? X

mustardtomango · 01/10/2013 14:41

Hi everyone, can I join too? Due on 3rd Nov as well (Hi giant!) and so far not found the waiting tough, but given this is the last stretch that maybe well change. Feeling huge but still seeing friends and doing the last of the nct classes. Next up: labour music, baths, feet up, hypnobirthing cd, freezer food baking and Masterchef Grin

Brandnewmamma · 01/10/2013 14:47

I have a newborn here and had two months to kill... I made loads of freezer dinners .. So glad of them.. We just had stew.. Hassle free

I up cycled a wicker chair and few things.

I decluttered a lot of stuff... Maðe room for baby... Sorted out clothes to do while I lost weight.

Bought a label maker and white boxes.. Labelled 0-3. 3-6 month clothes for presents coming in.

Baked, went to library, coffee shops.. Got beauty treatments or did them myself.

Sorted out things for christening.

Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned again

Watched boxsets

Swam three to four times per week

GreenGiant3 · 01/10/2013 14:51

Giant, we're having a boy... So excited! Cute dinosaurs and safari animals everywhere! Dh literally can't wait till he's out so the playtime can begin

mustardtomango · 01/10/2013 16:44

Princess, we totally did that 'last meal' thing too, only shame of it is that he doesn't like any space competition now so was a little battle to eat a whole good meal! Love him to death already but wasn't prepared to miss out on that one. Who knows how long it'll be before we go to a smart restaurant again

CornishFirstTimer22 · 01/10/2013 17:09

Watching with interest too! Due 1st Nov - and already spreading out the jobs I have to do before the baby arrives :-)

candr · 01/10/2013 17:17

Due end of Oct but have a 2yr old DS who wants constant entertaining which is tricky as have SPD and feel crappy. Am so ready to have DS2 and move on with things. For those of you on DC1 make the most of time to yourself and being able to sleep, watch films etc would love to have that peace now!

Rubysmommy · 01/10/2013 17:26

I'm due on 5th November, baby 2. I've still got 7 shifts left to do at work so I'm counting those down before I can start counting down to the due date. A bit fed up of work now. When I went onto maternity leave last time, I had my hair done. People always want to take photos after baby is born so i thought at least my hair would look ok Grin I tried to plan things to do like meeting friends. I went overdue by 9 days - I was convinced (hoped!) that everything I planned would have to be cancelled because I'd be in labour... This time around I'm planning to sort my hospital bag, probably clean...not sure what else so I'll keep an eye on this thread for ideas Smile

WentOnABearHunt · 01/10/2013 19:18

I have been listening to my hypnobirthing cd too. .. although i fall asleep everytime I listen to it.... (although I always 'wake up' when it tells me too, which is odd!) I hope it is doing some good - I have no idea what is on the thing past about 10 mins in lol!!

I am a planned homebirth too, so really hoping I dont go over and have to be induced!

I have so far finished watching 'true blood' - I need a new box set to watch (especially of sitting feeding too!). Any recommendations for anything good?

My other two kids are both in school, so while it is nice to have some rest time during the day, its a bit quite!! Not that I am complaining, I am huge and shattered!! I am just so ready to have this baby now!!

mustardtomango · 01/10/2013 19:21

That's so funny bear, I did exactly the same! Got to thinking, jeez that cd must be good...
