Sex during 3rd trimester

I'm not - dh is peturbed!(although it should come as no surprise as I was exactly the same during 1st pregnancy)

I'm not being prurient or nosey - but are you / would you during the 3rd trimester...or can't you be bothered / feel like beached whale like me?

The reason I ask is that I secretly hope that most of you will respond saying 'God gawd, no!' so that I can print off the thread and show dh that he is not all that hard done by. But don't let my hidden agenda influence your answers

GAWD NO!!
1st trimester and 3rd trimester were a total sex-free zone last time. 3rd trimester my heartburn was terrible and my baby was so wriggly that it sometimes hurt when he moved..... so it kind of put out the flames of passion!

Ooops, sorry, HMC, it was the last time we had frequent, spontaneous, prolonged and inventive sex! Take it as a huge compliment that your DH wants to...and ask that he channels his love into being sweet and considerate of your feelings around the whole thing, instead!

Glad someone started one of these threads!

I am in 2nd trimester and realised on Friday that DP and i have not had sex since we found out i was pregnant. At first it was me saying that i didn't want to for first 12 weeks as what with having some bleeding did not want to risk anything going wrong.
I think it's got to the stage now though where DP doesn't want to - the whole "there's a baby in there" type thing

TBH, i could go without sex for months, much more of a kisses and cuddle gal me, but i do feel bad for DP - think i might broche the subject with him tonight to see what his thoughts are! Think if he does want it, he needs to be quick as there is no way i'll be up for it when i'm about to burst!

Let me tell you about sex. Everytime I have sex I get pregnant - I'm not moaning about this as its been what I've wanted so far.

I think I had sex once during my pg with DS1, got pregnant on my sons 1st bday after only a handful of bonks. No sex during pg with DS2, got preg on about 1st ovulation after DS2 (no periods) miscarried. One period after m/c got preg 1st bonk (and on DS2s bday). Weird.

I feel I have completely lost my sex drive & feel sorry for hubby........

Me too. Had to use Rennie as a sex aid with all the heartburn though! It was also tough waiting the three weeks after the birth but dh wouldn't do anything in that time!

I am afraid Blu is not normal, you just got confused in her lascivious reminiscences.

I seem to remember Twiglett did have a slight frisson on account of an electric saw and a Christmas tree. I do think Mr Twiglett must have got his hopes (fnar fnar) up tremendously as she cooed to him about his Throbbing Tool
