Hi,

Very new to this!

I am currently 5 weeks and one day pregnant, I have no morning sickness and period like pains now and then, very worried as I had a missed misscarrige 2 months ago, had morning sickness with first child and had a healthy pregnancy.

Is there something wrong?Sad

I would call the hospital and ask in that case, they really should have given you more info than they have. Are you to go back next week? Feel bad for you that you've been left with no answers.
Just don't google!! Thanks

I have to go back on October the 7th to see if there's anything there other then just to sac which is 5mm at the moment, the sonogropher wasn't very nice which didn't help at all, they told me something must be growing in there, I must be earlier then what I thought which is odd, hoping for the best once again! Trying to stay positive! X

Glad you're ok. Will think if you on the 10th. It's sooo long to wait not knowing either way. I'm trying just to carry on as normal (minus wine) and take each day as it comes. 11th can't come soon enough!!

Me too. I know exactly how you feel. I'm wondering how much more I can safely bleed. 3 days now. I even had my astrologer friend study my chart, she guarantees he will be full term (yes a boy) and she's yet to be wrong with her predictions for me, Smile

I don't know how far I am at the moment, When I went for ultrasound a week ago obviously they told me I must of only just missed a period (was due on September 9th) also saying there's just a sack there measuring 5 millimetres
So from my LMP I'm supposed to be 6 weeks and 4 days.. Obviously my cycles are longer then 28 daysHmm x

Did you feel
Implantation? I felt it on tues 10th sept for about 24 hrs. I was immediately suspicious as I never get 5day before pmt pains.

It's so difficult to know at this stage and there's not much to see. Frustrating to be told its too soon, just wait!! X

Well about a month ago I had such bad pains QE2 said I had to go down but I had no transport at the time and it was like 3am, when I spoke to my sister about it she said she felt the same and that it's probably implantation, I didn't feel anything like it with my first!

Yeah tell me about it haha!

Yep it could well be. I knew nothing about implantation pain with my first pregnancy so never noticed, but this time I was looking out for it. My bleeding the other day cleared up with a canestan pessary but MW said maybe baby was getting a better grip. I have to test again in weds to make sure I'm still pg but I have all the symptoms. X

Hi ladies - another worrier here!

I had bleeds at 7 weeks and 10 weeks but thankfully only brown, old blood that was spotting for a few days. I had emergency scans at the EPAU on both occasions and thankfully the baby was fine.

I'm now 14 weeks and had to go into hospital yesterday with a sudden big bleed of fresh red blood. I couldn't believe how much there was, it scared the life out of me. The Doctor examined me and couldn't find a reason for such a sudden bleed and thankfully a scan showed a happy and healthy baby. I'm still bleeding a little today but it is slowing down, no aching or cramping either.

I can't believe how long you are having to wait for scans, how awful to be left in such limbo. I hope it's good news all round! x

Did they check to see if your cervix was open?
They done that for me with my last pregnancy with I sadly lost, it was horrible! I know how you feel being pregnant and having a pour of fresh red blood it's terrifying!

It's worrying I wish it was sooner but hey when the time comes I'm just hoping baby is okay this time,

My notes came today in the post just filled them out, hoping I didn't do it too soon, fingers crossed x

Hi Writer (I am one too Grin what are you writing about?) glad all was ok with baby!! My MW says there will be nothing to see. My last one died at 5-6wks and there was only a tiny blob on the screen and the foetal pole. I guess she doesn't want to panic me and at 8wks there should be a heart beat. If there's not she can at least say for sure.

My cervix was open on my second visit (last baby) I had passed the embryo at home already so knew it was over. It looked so strange, like a chrysalis. I was so confused at the time that I just flushed it. MW wanted it to investigate but it was gone already.
