How long did it take you?

I'm a TTCer and wondering what the average stats are on MN. How old are you and how long/how many cycles did it take for your BFP?

I'm 30, TTC DC#2, cycle 6 and bloody impatient!

I'm 27, 5 cycles, 30w pg atm

First baby - 1 cycle - age 20

Second baby - 2 cycles - age 23 (Lost this baby in a MMC at 13 weeks tho)

Third baby - 3 cycles - age 24, currently 32 weeks pregnant!

Our cycles seem to follow which baby it is, will be interesting to see if baby number four would take 4 cycles haha

DD 2nd month of trying I was 29

Currently age 33 and ttc#2 6th month of trying and losing hope rapidly...

DS1 - 1 cycle (25)
DC2 - 1 cycle MC (32)
DC3 - 1 cycle molar preg (33)
Ds4 - 1 cycle (35)

I'm 27 1st dc and took 18 months

I have one DS and it took me virtually no time. Tested positive 5 weeks after trying so must have been lucky first week or so of trying!

Dc4 3 cycles mc 22
Dc5 7 cycles mc 23

pregnancy 1, two years ttc, 32. miscarriage in first trimester.

was due to start ivf 4 cycles later. pregnant on my fourth cycle naturally , 33. currently 19 weeks.

I'm 29 and my husband is 31.

Currently 11wks with our 1st baby and we got pregnant on our first cycle.

DC1: 2 cycles, age 20
DC2: 3 years, age 34
DC3: 2 cycles, currently 15 weeks pregnant, age 35

Age 28 and currently 21 weeks pregnant with my first, took about 5months to conceive. Thought I was ovulating on day 14 of my cycle and 'targeted our efforts' around that time to no avail. Used an ovulation test and got pregnant straight away, turns out I was ovulating on day 11.

Dc1 age 26 1 cycle
Dc2 age 29 8 cycles now 35wks

DS 6 cycles aged 29.

My docs though it would take 2 years for me, overweight, alternating cysts on ovaries, one dodgy testicle on DP.... 2 weeks later after only DTD 3 times... BFP with my Bean!

DC1 conceived aged 34, 2 cycles

ds1 first attempts, ds2 3+ years with 1 mc inbetween.

DD1: 8 months
DD2: bang on 8 months again!
Third pregnancy: 8 months, but miscarried at 9 weeks
DS1: 3 months after mc.

For me, I think it takes 8 months for the pill to clear from my body. I know 8 months isn't that long, but at the time it felt like forever!

For those saying they're losing hope after 6 months, be positive, it takes 40% of women longer than that but most people will be pregnant within a year or so. Sadly it is a longer and tougher path for some of us. I started at 35, all tests good, 30 cycles naturally and then 6 months and two IVF cycles later (one fresh, one frozen embryo) I am 20 weeks pregnant with the frostie.

So sorry for all the ladies who suffered a loss.

We thought we would never conceive as I have an autoimmune condition, we got pregnant on the second month, just after we got back from our honeymoon.
I can highly recommend taking a trip away as it does make you a lot more relaxed about trying :)
