HIya,

Could be baby bedding into the womb - that's what I was told and baby was fine. hth. xx

spinach · 18/06/2006 21:06

it could be normal, havent had it myself... my expereince was bleeding nearer 9 weeks, with both pregnancies, first one fine, this one had bleed again at 14 weeks, now 20 weeks and all seems fine.... and had loads of cramps in early pregnancy with both, can just be uterus growing.... its not always a bad sign. hope you're okay. xx

ShouldKnowByFriday · 18/06/2006 21:07

Rachee, first of all congratulations, I have just read your happy news on the clomid thread. Can you check your hcg level by having a blood test at your clinic? I hope you are okay.

Rachee · 18/06/2006 21:14

Had spotting and cramps at 4 weeks. Went for a scan and they couldn't see anything so had a nightmare two weeks of blood tests to check pregnancy levels. Went back for scan at 6 weeks and everything was fine.

Have not had any more bleeding from about 5 weeks pregnant. Its so common spotting in early pregnancy.

Good luck I am sure you will be fine.

Hi Rachee. Am on my 3rd cycle of clomid and now day 9. Have been keeping a low profile as am trying not to let all this ttcing biz get to me. If I check threads every or every other day and post, I get too involved and also think too hard about trying to get preg and feel low about it all as I am not preg. I am still doing acupuncture and will do reflexology this week and egg is due next weekend. We shall see...

Fantastic news that YOU are preg. I think the period pains if they are cramps are normal even at this stage as the uterus is accommodating your pregnancy!!

This is all very reassuring, thanxs.

Hi I'm on the due in jan thread and lots of us havehad spotting and cramps, I had them from 5 weeks and even now I'm 10weeks still get occasional spotting and aches, had 2 scans one at 7 weeks on NHS and a private one on Friday and all okay bean in there and could see and hear heartbeat. This is my 3rd pregnancy got a DD who is 22months and she was text book pregnancy no spotting/aching etc had m/c in Feb and conceived this one first month of trying after m/c (we waited 2 cycles before TTC) Dr said spotting is more common 2nd/3rd time round as body has been streched before so more likey to produce extra fluid!!!!

trace2 · 19/06/2006 11:12

Rachee , hope every things ok hun, i think its normal,

Rachee · 19/06/2006 14:19

been to the doc this morning, he has taken a blood sample to ckeck the HCG level, just to make sure it's not eptopic, because only just had lap and dye 2 weeks ago, might have nestled in tube..... results coming back today, then got to go for second test wed to compare levels, if hcg has risen then it's a normal pregnancy.......

fingers crossed, only one light spot today so far.....

I bled when I was first preg with this bubba (my second) and I am now 27 weeks today!

I was terrified and both me and DP cried and thought that was it. Sad We also had his parents coming round that weekend to tell them the good news and had to cancel and DP told them why.

I had three hospital appointments and two scans which showed a little bean with a weenie heart beat both times and no eptopic preg- my mum had two eptopics, lost one tube and three miscarriages before she had me (I had two older sisters). So I was worried that this might happen to me. They also found a fibroid and said it could've been that bleeding or just an implantation bleed.

But all the worrrying was for nothing, I now have a healthy bubba growing in me and the worrying about bleeding seems so far away now, the only thing i'm worrying about is pushing him out!

Good luck!

I hope all is okay Rachee. An hcg blood test would be a good idea.

Gemmitygem · 20/06/2006 12:13

Rachee, wishing you all the best.

I found out I was preg at 4 and a half weeks.

The next day I bled quite heavily for 2 hours (like the beginning of a normal heavy period), with very light cramping. spotting continued for 2 days. Was positive I must have lost it, but no...
Still a mystery what it was but I'm now 23 weeks preg. I think it was just the body getting rid of some surplus materials!

Please let us know how you get on and all the best, will be thinking of you!

Gemmitygem · 20/06/2006 12:14

forgot to say, I also had small clots, like lining of womb, but they were dark red (more worrying as far as I know is light pinky grey clots), sorry if TMI..

golds · 20/06/2006 12:26

Hi, I hope you are well.

I had a ectopic last year, my HCG levels were checked several times, each time they were rising but not quite doubling, just under. Information I have found out since was that as soon as your HCG levels hit 1500 a sac can be seen on ultrasound.

I hope everything works out well for you - I had quite bad cramps with my first pregnancy, all was fine.

Rachee · 20/06/2006 17:41

Thankx for responses, all responses are good to know it's not just me !!! went to bed for few hours today, and bleeding stopped ..... roll on tomorrow morning, going for test at 8.30am, should know results just after lunch, will post on here as soon as i know.........( still got sore boobs, but don't FEEL preg....)
