I have always out right wanted a girl. But when I actually picture my baby I picture a little boy. I've even lately dreamed of when my baby is born and it was a boy. Is gut feeling normally right. I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby I'm only 7 weeks so I've got a long way to go lol

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

ALittleBitOfMagic · 28/08/2013 22:02

Yes I did twice and I was right . I just knew it was a bit freaky !!Shock

nipersvest · 28/08/2013 22:04

yes, gut feeling was correct both times.

terilou87 · 28/08/2013 22:20

I had a gut feeling and was correct all 5 times, I am now convinced that when im pregnant with boys I get hairy and feel sick and my bump is all to the front with girls I just put weight on all over aswell as a bump but no other symptoms but it could just be a lucky guess after all it is a 50/50 chance of being right.

Lexiesinclair · 28/08/2013 22:23

I was 100% convinced I was having a boy, even though the scan showed a girl. Obviously I was wrong, the scan was correct.

First time gut feeling was absolutely right: girl.

Second time my instinct was completely haywired: boy

Third time gut feeling was saying boy: apparently it's a girl but scans can be wrong! But I think it is definitely a girl now.

AnotherStitchInTime · 28/08/2013 23:38

Yes I thought I was having a girl both times. I was right. DH was convinced dd1 was a boy, but he was wrong. We both thought dd2 was a girl.

This time I think I am having a boy, had no morning sickness unlike my first two (in fact didn't even know I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks). DH has had two dreams about having a son before I got pregnant, but still thinks it is a girl.

I find out in 2 weeks at my 20 week scan so I will know for sure then.

chattychattyboomba · 28/08/2013 23:43

Mum- 3 sisters
Dad- 6 sisters
MIL- 2 sisters
FIL- 2 sisters
Me- 3 sisters, 2 brothers
DH- 2 sisters
I also have 11 female cousins, 2 male
DH has 5 female cousins...
We knew we were having a girl... And we did.

CuppaSarah · 29/08/2013 07:15

I knew I was having a girl from day one. I knew SIL was having a boy from day 1. 100% success!!

melliebobs · 29/08/2013 07:18

My gut feeling was boy. Didn't help with all and sundry telling me it was for reasons x y n z

We were all wrong Blush

IsleOfRight · 29/08/2013 07:19

Utterly convinced dc1 a boy. She wasn't.

Mama1980 · 29/08/2013 07:21

Yes i just 'knew' both my birth dc's were boys from the start, I was right Grin

BabyStone · 29/08/2013 07:22

From 8wks I knew I was having a boy, my family thought I was having a boy. Nearly everyone thought I was having a boy (even friends I hadn't seen in over a year and didn't see my bump) we were right Smile

AllEyeEatIsCake · 29/08/2013 07:39

First DC I had no clue at all. Second DC pregnancy was very different from first and big baby - after 20 wk scan both DH And I said "it's a boy". Neither of us saw a willy, just a feeling. And yup we got a boy. Now want to get pregnant again to see if girl and boy pregnancies really are different every time!!!

StaceyP85 · 29/08/2013 08:51

I was totally convinced I was having a girl - But I am definitely carrying a boy!

quickchat · 29/08/2013 10:28

I did have a gut feeling all 3 times. I have Boy, Girl, Boy and was always right.

GreatJoanUmber · 29/08/2013 11:56

With DC1 I had an inkling he was a boy, and I was right.
The pregnancy with DC2 was completely different and I was WAY sicker for starters. So everyone (including me) thought girl; but scan showed he was a boy! Funnily enough as soon as I saw him at the 20w scan I knew it was a boy, don't know why, as I'd thought all along he was a girl. But yes he's most definitely a boy Smile
This time I have a strong feeling it's another boy, but we're not finding out before he's born.

MurderOfGoths · 29/08/2013 11:57

Yep, DH felt the same, we were wrong Grin

Not even trying to guess this time

Cloudhoney · 29/08/2013 11:58

yes and i was wrong too!

dimdommilpot · 29/08/2013 13:25

I would of put my house on my first been a boy, we didnt find out the sex but had a 3d scan and that convinced me more. We had a girl.
This time i keep thinking another girl. I really dont care what sex but i havent yet thought it could be a boy. Im only 8wks.

TheContrastOfWhiteOnWhite · 29/08/2013 13:29

Gut feeling seems to be right.... ooh about 50% of the time Grin

TKKW · 06/09/2013 18:09

Had gut feeling with dc1 and was right. Gut feeling again with no2 but have to wait months and months and months to find out!

islasmummy2013 · 08/09/2013 18:38

I had a gut feeling dd was a girl, im not sure if I was just secretly hoping for a girl though, dp was convinced we were having a boy but I was right!
I'm 20 weeks tomorrow with this pregnancy and have my scan in the morning! I'm thinking girl again but we'll see!
