I spotted a Stokke Crusi today. I think I might be in love. I've got older kids and prams have changed so much in the intervening years! The Crusi is the first one Ive spotted that got the old pramaholic juices flowing...

Actually, just googled the Zezu for another look after replying to this thread and I came across this

Has anybody seen one in the flesh? Are they any good? Seems like to much of a bargain tbh.

Silver Cross Wayfarer. Fell in love the moment I saw it.

Another one for the silver cross wayfarer. Ordered it in chilli with car seat etc. I can't wait for it to come Smile
Tempted to take it out for a spin BEFORE baby arrives....
I do understand I will look slightly insane but I think I need to do it.

iCandy Peach for us. I really liked the Stokke Xplory but it has really bad suspension - no good for use on e.g. cobblestones. DP hated it.

Also liked the Crusi but extremely expensive and also seemed a bit wobbly. The Peach seems so well made and very sturdy. DP first noticed it in John Lewis but we bought from a small local shop that gave us a great price.

Uppababy Vista seemed half decent for the price but I prefer spending a bit more and getting something much more sturdy. We paid £905 including BeSafe Izi Go car seat so not bad I think.

I didn't get on with the Bugaboo ones; price was about the same (or more expensive for Donkey) as the iCandy Peach which felt much more sturdy to me.

I think overall we saw about 500 prams - I had no idea there was so much variety! It's totally overwhelming. Went to John Lewis, Mothercare, Kiddicare, Mamas&Papas, some local baby shops, etc. But the Peach stood out for us.

I'm quite happy we finally made the decision and yes it's not the cheapest pram but I think (hope) it will last us for a good 3 years.

i looked at the stokke crusi i loved it but was to expensive for us really i had a choice spend a lot on the pram or buy the dearer baby things so i went for the latter bought the obaby zezu red dotty which i love it faces mum for ages in carrycot mode and then still faces me when the carrycot mode gets outgrown it was one of my favs and at a bargain of £180 i was well pleased it ticked all the boxes im a pram holic so took ages to decide which one i really wanted lol

I've ordered an iCandy Peach Jogger (in Glacier) as we live in the countryside and I'll mostly be using it for rural walks so wanted 3 air tyres

Also it was the only one I liked the look of. Most prams I've seen are hideously ugly, all a matter of taste I suppose Smile

Razzdazz I'm in exactly the same situation; love my Bugaboo Cam but currently pregnant and will have a gap of 20 months, so looking at the Donkey.

How do you find it so far?

I love the Silvercross Surf!! Went to Harrods yesterday and saw their Aston Martin edition but £2000 may be a little pricey for me!!!!!

Silver cross Wayfarer. It arrived yesterday and I love it. DH and I spent last night playing with it. Can't wait for dd to arrive now.

We are going to harrods next week (morning sickness permitting!) to have a laugh look at the pushchairs there. Porche and Aston Martin prams, anyone?

They have models for ten grand, ffs.

Ds has reflux so his always smelled faintly of sick ... Who in their right minds would pay thousands to have a pushchair that will in a few months be covered in goo and bits of chewed toast?

Will be fun to go and have a look though!

Bj city mini gt. We bought it last week and the dc were delighted with it. They've had strict warnings it's for the baby!

I have indulged myself this time and bought a bugaboo cameleon...my excuses are that my older DCs are 11 and 8 so obviously we don't have a pram still and this was a bargain on eBay which cost me a quarter of what it would new! I'm over the moon with it, can't wait to use it now Smile

Fairypants - you might like the Bugaboo Buffalo? Think it comes out next month.

I have never had the pram love.

Spent as little as possible on a double for our twins. Went for the boring but practical Silver Cross Duo, bought it on special and got TAMBA discount so paid 180. It does the job and didn't empty my wallet Grin

We went to Mothercare today to look around. I like the bugaboo chameleon but its too expensive for us, also love the look of the buffalo but waaaay too expensive!

So... We liked the mothercare orb a lot, really looke nice an comfy, not too heavy and had a nice push to it. Also like the graco evo. I'm only 10 weeks so we won't be buying anything for a long time yet!

Ok, stupid iPhone! Couldn't find a delete button! So yeah, we have the above pram! It looks lovely and fell in love with it after reading good reviews and then again after asking a couple in the street how they got on with it (my DP thought I was mad!) even took friends, sister, in-laws to look in the shop and the woman working in there actually thought I was mad! So easy to use (well, it was in mothercare!) and really looking forward to using it when baby gets here in Feb :-)

In a box, in my hall, I have an Uppababy Vista in Red.

I'm not due for 7 more weeks, but I'm desperate to build it (and take it for a walk).

I love it. Sturdy but not huge, hopefully suitable for the next baby too, and a huge basket.

I am in love. And it's cheaper than a second car, which was the alternative!

We got the uppababy vista in black and orange. V sturdy, practical and looks fab too. No air tyres to burst and so easy to collapse/push etc

Report
CruCru · 24/08/2013 19:45

I have the Uppababy Vista (from DS so a couple of years old). It is a good pushchair. Worth getting the buggyboard (think its called the Piggyback) for when they are a bit older - useful for the zoo when you don't want to schlep them in and out the buggy but they can't walk all round the place by themselves).

Hi poppy, not used my donkey as a duo yet as baby due next week but love it in mono, feels lighter than the cam to push, chassi is heavyish when putting in car but only to be expected with a double frame!!
