I have my heart set on the uppababy vista. Please can one of you lovely people let me know if it will fit in the boot of an Audi a3?

offon I would think that the stand I'd kind of essential in allowing the ventilation to ventilate. However I got a stand from kiddicare for £25 that it fits on rather than 'the' stand.

'Is' not ' I'd'

h369 don't worry, I ordered my (mica silver) in september 2012 for a december edd. JL may well price match, worth an ask Smile.

I bought mine from a baby show and got a cabriofix car seat thrown in for £600.

I'm just such a rubbish decision maker!!!

For those of you who are going to use as a double for a baby & toddler, how are you fitting the newborn in? The rumble seat can't be used with the bassinet and the seat is unsuitable for a newborn...

I have an uppababy & love it, but am now looking at a Phil & teds as I cannot see anyway of making it work for 3 hrs of dog walking each day.

O dusty I'm not sure! Is there no wee link to my photos?!

One dog - some people use a car seat for baby or get the insert for the toddler seat which means its suitable from birth. It's a wedge for their back and makes it flat

onedog I am wondering this also. My DS will be just over 2 when DC2 arrives (in January) and I have 2 dogs to walk. I'm definitely going to get the rumble seat, and possibly look at the piggyback board (but that is very pricey so might try to find a second hand one or a universal one). I'm thinking that for short dog walks I'll just use the car seat or bassinet and board until DC2 is old enough to go into the seat. Although having just had a quick google of the insert for the toddler seat I may get that.

So, I went to JL and tried the vista with the rumble seat and my toddler. Can't recline the seat fully for a newborn unless they are forward facing and the rumble seat faces the you. Dd was loving it but in order to see her, I had to unvelcro the footrest bit and she then hung onto the metal bar, rocking the seat. I gave up on figuring out how it'd work for us.
Car seat would be fine if you're not going to be using it for hours every day...
Bit sad but the Phil & teds configuration will work so much better for us...may well have a 2nd hand vista for sale soon!

Sorry to hijack but if anyone's interested I will be selling my Uppababy Vista in a month or two. Excellent condition, 2012 model in Mica Silver with black frame, bassinet included.
