What's the secret weapon that helped you get pg?

Ok folks, I'm sure it's been done before but I'd like to compile a list of all the magic potions, herbal teas, old wives tales and secret places you've used to get pregnant or you've heard of so that my friends and I over on conception can come and join you over here!

No skimping on the details please and thank you in advance!

No special potions or tricks were needed for me. I just made use of dh's not-so-secret weapon and his plentiful supply of extra strong sperm!

The book 'taking charge of your fertility' by Toni Weschler. Absolutely brilliant, tracked my cycles to the day using it and even managed to conceive a boy second time by knowing when to do it! Got pg first time with both children (I know I was lucky too ). Good luck girls ++++BFPdust+++++

Soupdragon I had exactly the same idea as you. A penis is certainly one of the most popular tools you need to get pregannt I would say.

my dp held my legs up in the air and shook me. We were messing about as somebody had told us to do it, but we had been trying for two years before that and it worked. at what it must have looked like

We conceived to of ours in cornwallwhile on holiday. apparently cornwall has magical qualities (and it did on us)

I had previously been given a 5% chance of ever falling naturally as I suffer from polycystic ovaries and also since endimetriosis too:(. First child I swear was a fluke as we weren't even trying (just getting prepped for our wedding in fact, and the medding nerves I thought I had weren't, was morning sickness:):)).
second child was conceived in cornwall, as was child no.5, baby's 3 & 4 were happy surprises in that we weren't even trying, but I still swear cornwall was working its magic

other than that SD's comment made me lmao

Another vote for cushion under the bum after sex. And stay lying like that for 15 minutes or so. I got pg on my first cycle of trying for dd1, and in the second cycle for dd2.

agnus castus/ chaste berry worked for 2 of my customers
one had been ttc for a couple of years

200iu of Vitamin E.
Lady at the Healthfood shop told me I would be pregnant within 3 months of taking it or I could have my money back. 2 months later PG!
We had been trying for 10 months after coming off the pill and my cycle was useless, I'm sure it was this that sorted it out.

Both with DS and current pg, I figured that we had missed ov completely. And we ended up having sex just "because we wanted to" and not to TTC. perhaps there's something in that?

baby aspirin !!! I SWEAR by it ...had fertility probs with one of mine and asisted conception was not going well...
Doctor left the room i said to the nurse' is there ANYTHING else i could be doing?' and she said "you are taking aspirin aren't you??"
I conceived my beloved ds3 that month!!

Being around a breastfeeding mum, read somewhere about it affecting your hormones in much the same way as when women in the same household tend to have periods around the same time. Sorry thats not very clear but hope you understand what I mean. After 3 years trying, pcos, dh low sperm count,very irregular periods I gritted my teeth and spent lots of time with my cousin and her new baby (had avoided all babies/ pregnant women as I found it very painful to be near them)got pregnant within a month.
