Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

I think I will grab some more tests and do one again tomorrow. Thanks Maybe, I bet your sick of reading about it now as you are on every thread I'm on! Sorry Smile

PramQueen1971 · 14/08/2013 09:23

Cups, I'll repeat myself from t'other fred: First Response are notoriously shit tests and I do not know how they still have folks buying them. Anyway, you're pregnant and that is bleddy brilliant Smile

Marbie, did you mean 'norks'? I fear you have lost grammatical focus since your scan

My friend is coming today and I suspect it's going t be a long 'un so I'll see you all tonight...

twinklestar2 · 14/08/2013 11:52

Just dipping in to say thanks to Pram for your lovely msg on t'other thread :)

PramQueen1971 · 14/08/2013 12:24

Twinkle, you keep looking ahead, chicken, your baby is on the horizon..x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/08/2013 13:39

Twinkle, you're amazing. That is all.

Prammy, norms is a southern word for norks

I want to go home to bed!! When oh when will the glowing, energetic stage start?

NookNook · 14/08/2013 14:08

Cups very exciting! Yes test in the morning but a line is a line!!!

twinklestar2 · 14/08/2013 14:24

Aw thx, you guys are exactly what I need at the moment. Comfort and understanding x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/08/2013 15:14

Thanks NookNook and Prammy Smile

Prammy did you have some spotting around your BFP or was yours later? Ive been "spotting" now for two days. It has been brown pretty much but I have had a few mucousy bits inbetween that have been a bit pinkish. It's bit heavier at the minute but its still all brown. I've become an obsessive knicker checker, in fact I'm just wearing knickers around the house as its saving valuable time!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/08/2013 15:24

Cups I meant to say, of course I'm bony sick of hearing about this!! Far from it Smile

Did you get some more tests? I had spotting before my BFP. I get a tiny bit of brown goo from my crinone, but that's cos I keep cutting myself with the applicator!!

Twinks you come here whenever you need to x

NookNook · 14/08/2013 15:25

Cups I'm also spotter! I spotted (exactly like just before period) the day I did the pregnancy test. Was absolutely totally and utterly convinced it was my period. Then nothing until 6 weeks when I spotted loads with brown and a bit of pink mucus. Had an early scan and all was fine!

Hope that helps... x

Cups, it is implantation without a doubt. My sludge appeared at 6 wks and more or less became a house guest for three weeks. Mine was due to cervical erosion from ramming pessaries up.

I don't think I can bear all the photos of thin torsos on th'antenatal facebook group slags

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/08/2013 16:31

Thanks for the reassurances, I've read that it's quite common. Most posts I've read it's just a small amount of spotting, whereas I'm having what I think is a lot. I've just peed on another stick Blush its still faint but positive. I'm going to hand all the remaining sticks to DH to hide as at this rate ill have used 6 ones I've got left before tomorrow.

Right I'm going to force myself to read for a bit, try to stop being so crazy!

PramQueen1971 · 14/08/2013 17:14

Cups, don't test for another 48 hours - you'll see no difference tomorrow.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/08/2013 18:45

I'm going to try not to Prammy as I know I should wait a couple of days. Im a bit amazed at my lack of restraint. I've been ttc for 3 and a half years and I've barely used any tests in that time mainly cos I'm so stingy

PramQueen1971 · 14/08/2013 20:48

I'm so chuffed for you, Cups x

MotorcycleMama · 15/08/2013 10:22

Morning all! I've just been sent an appt with a consultant obstetrician in September. I have asked what it is for, but the receptionist just said "it's your antenatal care". Any ideas if this is routine or what it is for?

How's your resolve cups? Hope you are not menkulling too torturously! We're all with you. X

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 15/08/2013 11:14

Hi Motor, I've no idea about your appointment as I'm clueless about these things Smile

I'm still bleeding and it's turned more pink/red now so I'm a bit more worried. I've spoken to the clinic and my GP and I've been for a beta test. I did manage to get a pregnant 1-2 weeks off a digi this morning which made me feel better for a few mins. I know it's just a case of waiting now.

MotorcycleMama · 15/08/2013 11:21

Oh cups poor you. Really good news you got the beta done, and that you got a good result on the digi test. Try to stay positive - spotting is very common in early pregnancy. Keep us updated.

PramQueen1971 · 15/08/2013 12:04

Motor, my care is consultant-led and I'm very thankful; you get hand-held all the way through. It's probs because you're IVF or you're ancient like me?

Cups, nowt to worry about with sludge or pink spotting. Promise.

Caip · 15/08/2013 12:10

Hi everyone
Tentatively posting as still can't quite believe I am pregnant. Had a dentist appt this morning and told him I was pregnant (check up was then free!) Which felt really odd. Think I've just said the test was positive to everyone else.
Just done a FET with 2 day 5 blasts, tested on Tuesday which was OTD and 11dp5dt. Tested again yesterday just to make sure!
Am off work at the mo as finished my old job on Tuesday and start my new job on Monday. They know I've been doing IVF and still gave me the job despite knowing I could be pregnant but I still feel guilty. Am knackered too and know the new job's going to be hard work so am a bit nervous. But this is family and my life, and us just a job, have to keep reminding myself.

How's everyone else? Lots of familiar names

Good to see you here cups

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/08/2013 12:11

That's strange Motor as Prammy says, are you older? Or maybe at high risk of something? . I don't think it's the IVF, as far as I'm aware, I'll just be under the midwives. Well, the GP said that I would be treated like a normal pregnancy, so I'm guessing that's what she meant!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/08/2013 12:15

Hey Caip!! Congratulations!! How exciting. Do you have your scan date? I got my BFP the week before I started my new job. I'm struggling massively. My boss knows and she has been fab, so I can't complain. I'm just sad that I can't give 100% at the moment, but then as you say, it's o my a job.

PramQueen1971 · 15/08/2013 12:34

The Fing Wot Caused The Epiphany was enough for me to merit consultant-led care, I believe. Have you ever stolen a Mars Bar, Motor? Burned someone's house down? That'll be it, then Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/08/2013 12:35

Grin *Prammy

PramQueen1971 · 15/08/2013 12:35

Caip, I read about your job stuff on the AC fred (I was Juicy). Lovely employers and great news.
