Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

That's so cool Motor Grin

Nook I'm terrified. Not like me as I'm always the optimist!!

NookNook · 12/08/2013 15:38

That's amazing Motor! I'm so jealous. And check you out Miss 9 weeks!

I'm gutted its dildocam. I've so had enough of them! Oh well.

MotorcycleMama · 12/08/2013 15:40

It is impossible not to be terrified of scans, but it will be a lovely opportunity to see your little one. We'll all be thinking of you. X

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/08/2013 15:45

Thanks Motor Smile

Nooky dildo cams don't bother me anymore floozy in fact it doesn't feel right going to see a medical professional and not taking my clothes off....

NookNook · 12/08/2013 17:22

Ha! Yes I know what you mean but after 3 ivfs I've had enough! I want to be able to keep my clothes on. Hmm. I must be getting old.

PramQueen1971 · 12/08/2013 17:23

I haven't had a dildocam since my 6 wk scan. In fact, at the eight week one I told her I'd forgotten to not pee and my bladder was empty but she refused to dildocam saying, 'we really prefer not to if we can help it'.

Jean & Shelley only just left. They arrived at 11.45am! We've had a lovely day involving steak and hot cherry pie and icecream and prayer time and chit-chat. Ace Smile

I'm starting to dread this time of day when the nausea descends. Really dreadful at the moment Sad

Can't wait to hear your news tomorrow, girls! Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/08/2013 17:34

Oh Prammy, what a lovely day!! Sounds amazing! I live a bit of steak me.

Sooty about the nausea. Mine is relentless. It's all day apart from late evening, then I get it again before bed. Got some sea bands today, they're doing ok at the moment!

Keeping your clothes on Nook? That's soooo last year Wink

I'm lurking ladies -too scared to fully move in yet! Had my hcg done today along with progesterone, so am hoping that will provide reassurance - but left clinic feeling like I was doomed to fail after nurses messages of bleak and depressing stories. Helpful. Though she did book me in for a 7 week scan - so maybe she hasn't completely written me off.
Can I ask when did your symptoms start? I occasionally feel very slightly sick, bit tired, boobs bit sore (but not growing) - but as am on progesterone injections could all be that.
Also baths - I don't want a hot one but would like one, oh and a swim, but clinic say not yet.... Risk of infection? But not provided any guidance as to when can start, and I forgot to ask.
Well - I seem to have unlurked quite successfully! I promise I won't always be quite such a misery. Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/08/2013 21:14

Oh Wim, what did the nurse say?! How helpful not of her.

After I got my BFP, I was told I could swim again. I think it's only until the trauma from EC heals, which it shouldve done. I had my first bath at the weekend. It was bliss.

As for symptoms, my boobs changed pretty much straight away, they are massive and very sore, especially of a night. The sickness didn't kick in till probably a week after BFP. But everyone is different, so I really wouldn't worry about symptoms, or lack of them Smile

PramQueen1971 · 12/08/2013 21:23

WimbledonCommon, if your HcG levels are 'normal' you may experience very few or slight symptoms. Do not worry. My beta levels were ludicrously high and I was nauseous from 8dp5dt. My tits are comedy footballs, too. So many women have only mild symptoms in the early days so please don't worry. You should have kicked that nurse up her crack.

I have suddenly and arbitrarily been inundated with requests from mates from my past life for 'help' and friendship. One has just got out of the nuthouse and the other wants to offload about her fuck buddy and her autistic son. That's Wednesday and Thursday taken up. I don't know if I can cope with the re-emergence of friends in my life. I like my ignorant and insular cocoon where I don't have to agree with others or pretend to be interested in their vacuous lives.

Wimwom · 12/08/2013 21:41

Kicking the nurse up her crack has made me laugh and laugh! I think Ayer a two hour wait I was already disgruntled - and she was uber cheery as she told me my 'baby might have already died' - ummm thanks then!
I will see if I fit in my cozzie - got fat during IVF (4kg fat!!!) and aim for a swim at weekend.
Nt sure I'm in the right place - no comedy football tits here! Small pert ones of which I am unreasonably proud! Though my left nipplecould now remove an eye an ten paces - the right is just not bothered.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/08/2013 21:46

Wim my nipples are the reverse!

What a stupid bitch of a nurse.

Prambo how long has it been since you heard from these friends?

PramQueen1971 · 12/08/2013 23:02

WigWam, was that nurse Aspergers?? I gained 5lbs during IVF and I've gained another 7lbs since my BFP Sad

Marbie, The mental breakdown girl used to be a fabulous mate but only in a work context. I've never met a smarter, wittier and more self-deprecating loon. Really kind heart, too. She was recently sectioned, has lost all her 'friends' and is the talk of her town. She heard about The Fing Wot Caused My Epiphany - and the level to which I had sunk and since recovered - and contacted me by private message via fb. She directly asked me for help. I gave her my number and we text (I hate texting!) Tonight she asked me if she can visit and of course I said yes. I will never ignore a plea for help if I know it's genuine. However, I also know to tread carefully with damaged minds and broken souls; it's a huge responsibility to take on someone's sorrow and promise to do all you can to help.

T'other lass is much younger than me but again, we only ever worked together. She also contacted me through fb after finding out about my troubles at a funeral she was at Hmm I do think there's an element of voyeurism, whereby folks are fascinated about What Happened To Pram and What She's Like Now, but I'm not a gorilla to be poked with a stick through the bars so we shall see...

PramQueen1971 · 12/08/2013 23:06

Oh, i fucking love Prambo!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/08/2013 23:09

You sound like a top notch friend. A good egg. A diamond. It sounds like your work place has a lot to answer for. I'm sure you will help your friends out no end. They are lucky to have you Smile
