New thread ladies!

Happy birthday for tomorrow Bod sounds like you have a lovely day lined up!
DH is looking after DS tomorrow so I can go for a trip into York and a mooch round the shops. First stop will be a child free latte in Betty's!

Sorry to see all the sad news today. Gosh it sucks doesn't it. I know no one deserves it, but especially when it is not the first time, it's just not fair. :( thinking of you all.

IBelieveInPink · 22/07/2013 18:46

Gary - losing plug! Ooh. That's exciting. Not long to go then!
You will be like k-middy with the fan base here watching and waiting for news. Okay not quite the same as the whole world, but we are just as eager!! :)

DIYandEatCake · 22/07/2013 18:58

Oh no what sad news Sad. So sorry for your bad luck cam, myrtle and venus, really hope you're back with us soon if you want to be.
Welcome back fod and welcome poopy - wishing you both lots of luck, we all deserve it.
20 week scan tomorrow, we're going to find out boy or girl if we can. Looking forward to seeing the baby again and just hoping that it's still happy and healthy in there.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 22/07/2013 19:02

Venus, so sorry to hear your news. I hope it's all over quickly for you & if you do decide to ttc again, the best of luck. Enjoy your wine tomorrow. Flowers xxx

IBIP, Grin I'll be just like K-Middy & channel my inner graceful & eloquent self during labour too!
I feel like a bit of a tease, have had back pain all afternoon & mild (irritating not painful) contractions which didn't subside in the bath I've just had, no more mucus plug lost though. I feel I'm in for the long haul!
Although I have no childcare options today for the only time this week so that alone should be enough to send me into full blown labour!

Good luck for your scan tomorrow DIY!

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 22/07/2013 19:36

diy best of luck for your scan tomorrow x

gary mucus plug AND contractions!! how are you so calm! eek this is exciting! dailymail showbiz will be all over it when your labour starts! (i just made the mistake of googling mucus plug)

hi fod and poopy! congrats on your bfps! fx for very unexciting pregnancies for you both xx

BumpKitty · 22/07/2013 19:43

gary' I'm very excited for you, are you sure you aren't Kate?!

santa I read something that said you can be less sensitive to movements after already having a baby as everything is a bit stretched inside! Hope that isn't too offensive!

diy good luck for the scan :)

shellsocks · 22/07/2013 19:51

So sorry cam, myrtle and venus I hope you are being looked after in RL and things go as smoothly as possible for you from now on x I agree with pink life sucks sometimes and it's just not fair Hmm

jmf294 · 22/07/2013 19:55

Thoughts with you Cam, Myrtle and Venus- such sad news and I'm sure the weather and the constant royal talk makes everything even worse if possible.

Good luck Gary- when is your due date? You may get a special coin.
Hope the scan goes well DIY- not many of us on team blue so far!!

Hope everyone is ok in the heat- it's a bit horrid!!

BlackholesAndRevelations · 22/07/2013 19:59

Oh no oh no. So sorry for myrtle, cam, and Venus. truly shit to go through this more than once (once is more than enough obviously). You are all in my thoughts and I hope you are looking after yourselves. Give yourselves lots of time to grieve and heal. Sad xxx

LuckySocks13 · 22/07/2013 19:59

So so sorry to read such sad news Cam, Mytrle and Venus. Life is truely cruel sometimes. Sending you all love and strength at this sad time x

BlackholesAndRevelations · 22/07/2013 20:00

Welcome poopy - I hope you have the most boring pregnancy ever (if you know what I mean!) congratulations xxx

shellsocks · 22/07/2013 20:07

Jbrd meand DH are a good team as he just thinks everything will be fine so doesn't panic if I have a 'bad' symptom or don't feel the baby for a while...so I am going insane, mad tears etc. he is v calming and logical which does help me...sounds like your DH might be useful in that way too when you get passed the first 12w and accept you will be having a baby Smile

Welcome poopy I had a horrendous MMC experience with my first PG, both physically and emotionally but now have a lovely DS...that PG was scary and mentally tough but we got thru it, you will too xxx

gary GrinGrin. I'm very excited for you! x

Good luck tomorrow diy Smile hope you get to find out the sex x

So 24w tomorrow at last, feels like a real milestone...might buy something for the new baby as I'm going shopping with my friend Smile

shellsocks · 22/07/2013 20:08

And yes jmf the heat has finally got to me...swollen ankles, throbbing hot feet AND a summer cold Hmm Still don't want the heat to end tho! Wink

Pentagon · 22/07/2013 20:21

bad things come in threes indeed...I'm so sorry venus, we've all been there and it's awful and so unfair...thinking of you and hope you have a BFP and uneventful pregnancy very soon

welcome poopy, it's scary being pregnant after a horrible MMC but fingers crossed everything goes well this time

gary wow, you may be very close! Did you have a similar experience with your first?

DIY good luck tomorrow, let us know how it goes!!x

GardenWorm · 22/07/2013 20:26

Ooh Gary/KMid (your secrets safe with me Ma'am!) this sounds soooooo exciting, surely baby is on the move? Look forward to hearing what's next. Go team Gary! Smile

What time's your scan DIY?

GardenWorm · 22/07/2013 20:31

BOY! Boom!

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 22/07/2013 20:34

oooh she's had him!!!! well done kmid!!! (i'm guessing it's not you gary?!)

jmf294 · 22/07/2013 20:36

Ohh wonder what the name will be!!

GardenWorm · 22/07/2013 20:42

Gary's gone quiet.....def K Mid (last post was clearly a red herring Grin)

GaryBuseysTeeth · 22/07/2013 20:54

Envy Ooh how I wish it were me (although I would've married the other brother!)!
Pentagon, DS was induced so I have no idea what early labour feels like...still got the discomforts (don't want to call them pains) & I've lost more mucus plug (Janie, I think brain bleach is needed after goggling to compare colours).

Scared to go offline now incase you all think I'm popping!!

shell, summer cold?! Hope you feel better soon. Congrats on reaching 24wks. x

DIYandEatCake · 22/07/2013 20:57

2.00. A boy - I expected it to be a girl for some reason! I'm so glad I wasn't the obstetrician or midwife looking after k mid, imagine the pressure... Wonder who he'll grow up looking like?

DIYandEatCake · 22/07/2013 20:59

Oooh gary that's so exciting! Hope this is the start of things and it's all over quick so you're not too knackered.

LuckySocks13 · 22/07/2013 21:01

Ahh a little boy :) (fingers crossed wont be named James! Don't want DS to be one of many!)

Bodicea · 22/07/2013 21:13

I second that: please no James. Although will win £200 if it is as put £20.

Thanks for a your birthday messages. Had a fab day.

I am so sorry myrtle cam and venus. What a Terrible day of news and a crap day for it with all this baby fanfare.

I was due wih my second pg the same time as kate Middleton and found out about her pregnancy about the same time I was losing mine. Everything seemed to be about babies. Totally hated her guts especially when she got all this sympathy for hyperemasis. at least she was bloody pregnant. and still resent her for getting to hold a baby her arms before me. Totally stupid really but normal I think.

Bodicea · 22/07/2013 21:16

Oh and welcome back fod.

Very excited for our second baby on thread Gary. I second that the brother is fitter. He still has his hair x
