Kat good luck. Xx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 09:40

Ooh, I forgot! I had my first incidence of inappropriate belly touching yesterday!
DH told his parents about the baby and his mother just couldn't resist! Confused

IBelieveInPink · 12/08/2013 09:57

Sorry to hear about all the stressful times going on for people. It sucks, sorry you are having to go through this.

Saggy - inappropriate belly touching scares me! Mil also grabbed my belly the other day, and said 'ooh I can feel kicking'! Didn't have the heart to say it was just me nervously twitching.

In other news - I am being stalked. They are filming the next series of OBEM in Bristol - and are asking anyone due September - November if they want to go on it. Wasn't too bad so far - just a letter, a few signs up at midwifes, couple of emails.... But yesterday was coming out of Mothercare and someone accosted me to tell me how great it would be to go on one born! No no no!!!!!! Going to have to disguise bump when I go out in future...

GardenWorm · 12/08/2013 10:26

Ha Ha!! Please go on Pink - it would be a hilarious way to reveal your true identity, you could cryptically keep screaming 'Im pink' throughout, the producers would think you were bonkers and def put you on! I'm going to have to watch it now in case you change your mind Grin

MotorcycleMama · 12/08/2013 10:45

qaz I am sorry. I hope that you have lots of support, and once you are ready to try again, you will get the pregnancy you dream of.

kat I'll be thinking of you at 2.30. Try to keep busy in the meantime.

As for me, all is well. Baby has good heartbeat and measuring 26mm ("slightly large" the midwife said). I could see the little arms and legs wiggling. Phew.. My happiness is only tempered by the sadness that others are going through - my heart goes out to anyone in that position.

Rockchick1984 · 12/08/2013 11:38

That's fantastic news Motor!! Congratulations!

Good luck for this afternoon's scans guys, hopefully motor has started a good news trend!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 11:41

Do it do it do it! Grin

BlackholesAndRevelations · 12/08/2013 11:57

Oh q and kat- welcome and hope it's good news for you both xxx

motorcycle- over the moon for you! Woop woop! Know what you mean about others' sadness but you've had your fair share of all that yourself xxx

Hugs to all.

WhatWillSantaBring · 12/08/2013 12:01

Hello all,

Sorry, I've been AWOL for a while - had limited access to t'interweb on holiday last week, so have managed to look at things a few times, but so much traffic around here that I couldn't keep up!

Anyway, welcome to the newbies and sorry to hear that we've lost a few more. Being pg after a mc is miserable because all the joy gets taken away by the fear, but fingers and toes crossed for everyone to have sticky beans.

pink - OBEM in Brizzle? Gosh, glad I've just moved out of the area. I've personally never seen the appeal in letting your most primeaval self be broadcast - its bad enough that DH and a MW have to see you screaming like a banshee, but can you imagine your boss tuning in to see that you can infact swear enough to make a navvie blush??!?!

So, my anomoly (20wk) scan is on Friday and I'm bricking it. DH can't come and I can't decide if I'd rather be alone or take a friend with me. Because if when its happy news, I'd not want anyone to see it before DH, but when if it was bad news, I wouldn't want to be alone.

Only just starting to feel movement but the acid indigestion has definitely started. Off to buy shares in Rennie again Grin

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 12:12

SANTA! There you are!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 12:19

OK. I'm lying here in bed, Monday is my weekend and I've got an overwhelming urge for some of the fudge that is made in a shop in our local town.
I'm fighting the urge to drive in and buy some. lots.
It will make me dizzy, lightheaded, chronically acidy and I will feel sick. But I neeeeeeeed it! Sad

WhatWillSantaBring · 12/08/2013 12:22

Get out of bed saggy (only kidding - just jealous). Seriously though, go and get the fudge. If you're craving it, it will make you feel better. Just get some rennies/gaviscon at the same time.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 12:25

Oh lord! It's a 20 mile round trip and I hav to pay to park! Confused you aren't helping! Confused Grin

IBelieveInPink · 12/08/2013 12:26

Ooh I'm jealous! I haven't had any cravings so far! I was really hoping to have some really weird ones too.
Get the fudge.... You may as well give in now.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 12:28

You lot are NO help!

GardenWorm · 12/08/2013 12:34

Saggy tell Pink you'll get the fudge of she goes on OBEM! Grin

Fab news Motor x

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 12:36

I've got a better idea! Ill go on ObEM, I have NO shame Pink can go eat the fudge!

IBelieveInPink · 12/08/2013 12:48

Damnit no! I will not go on that programme! Why would I want to relive that?
Although I was über impressed by the one girl on there who was completely quiet all the way through, just concentrated and popped a baby. She is my role model.

I do quite fancy fudge now though...

RainbowConnections · 12/08/2013 13:09

Motor thats lovely news. I think its ok to just let yourself be happy after all the stress. x

I've turned my attention to my diet this week as I've piled on weight over the last couple of months. Day 2 of being healthy and all I can think of now is fudge!

RainbowConnections · 12/08/2013 13:22

Welcome Tea and congratulations. I think its understandable to not be too excited just now but I'm sure as time goes on it'll get better.

kjh5 · 12/08/2013 13:31

Um... hello pokes head in the door and sidles into the room, waves to familiar names I'm hoping you lovely ladies won't mind if join this thread? I'm making the leap from the TTC after MC thread after getting a BFP over the weekend.

I MC'd at 6 weeks five weeks ago so I am in a bit of shock over how quickly I've fallen pg again. I am literally 14DPO today so barely pg and a little nervous/neurotic about how it is all going to turn out. Especially as I have been spotting for the past four days so I keep expecting AF to turn up and it all to be over before it has even begun...

Anyway I could do with some posifrickintivity and some reassurance that this is all normal!

BumpKitty · 12/08/2013 13:36

Mmmmm fudge! I'm back at work after 2 weeks off, I think some fudge might just take the edge off :)

motor excellent news x

Good luck kat

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 12/08/2013 13:42
