23 weeks and this bump is the size I was at 7/8 months with DD - she had to be hoovered out and a cut. I am worried for my undercarriage! Lol!

We are en route to Cumbria. DP is driving, I went all faint and wobbly after an hour and a half at the wheel! I couldn't feel my hands!

Not long hopefully gary, dh smelt your knickers, and showing them to codpiece really had me chuckling!

Went for my 17wk scan today at ultrababy, we are having a little girl dh will truly be outnumbered now ha ha! Got some lovely scan picture and a heartbeat bear, baby is all healthy with all things in the right places and i'm so relieved to have seen baby again and so happy to know the flavour extra early
Went out and bought a pink little dress and now more optimistic than ever that everything should be ok, but i don't think panic stations will be over completely until baby is here in jan!

Sorry you have more waiting myrtle, I found that one of the hardest things about my MC, the waiting and not knowing. I really hope you know what's going on very soon.

Am feeling right fed up this week! Watch out here comes a moan zone! On Thursday morning I had some more bright red spotting. Seems to keep cropping up every so often. Just when I begin to relax I'm back on knicker check. To top it off it was our 5th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday and husband totally forgot along with everyone else in my family. I have felt so low I havn't even bothered to tell him about the spotting. He then went out with his work mates last night and then slept all morning today whilst I entertained DS. Moan over!

So anyway am 23 weeks today :) so trying to get some positivinfrigity back. Chuck a wet fish at me someone! I have had to sit down today and work out when I'm likely to finish work as they want to know in the next 2 weeks. Nice but scary to think that far ahead!

i'm in such a bad temper today, feels like a superbad pmt, our house is just so messy and i have no energy to tidy it. i am tempted to pay a cleaner. i so want a bath tonight but just can't be arsed cleaning the bathroom first. thought chocolate might fix it but no joy. maybe i need some ryan gosling movies. haven't felt this hormonal ever

So much news! Really pleased the scan went well pumpkin, and that you're not dealing with an ectopic myrtle - though it sounds like a real ordeal. Hope you get some answers soon. Fwiw they suspected ectopic when I miscarried, to cut a long story short what the sonographer reported as just a 'clot' at the first scan turned out to be a sac but attached really low down. I really feel for you, I remember the stress and uncertainty all too well.

Joining the grumpy ranks today, have a very painful infection round a wisdom tooth and have given in and started taking antibiotics as the side of my face was puffing up like a hamster, and I've hardly slept for 3 days thanks to the pain. Hate taking anything more than paracetamol but I think needs must in this case.
chocolate congrats on your scan too, I had quite mixed emotions when they said 'boy' at the scan (had always just imagined girls somehow!) but thinking logically boy or girl is just a small part of who our babies will turn out to be.

Already getting sarcy comments of ils about the name choice and the fact it's "another girl", if only they knew of my mc heartache they would realise their words are hard to take!
I'm happy my baby is healthy & each of my girls are different with individual personalities which are not completely to defined to the word "another girl". Makes me so angry they can't be happy with gc

Rock, I think it may've just been heavy, wet discharge/plug stuff as I've had no further plug loss since it went.
Throwing myself into planning lots for the next few weeks, tempted to book a weekend away somewhere (pref. inaccessible to ambulance & away from mobile phone reception) just to get things moving.

Blackholes we are calling her Sapphire, when they saw the name on fb they thought they read it wrong and said are we sure we are calling her that and asked what middle names we had chosen to go with "this other girl", i told dh to tell her middle names are under wraps for now !

gary I had something similar last time after my first sweep (I had 2, the second triggered my labour or maybe it was just a coincidence) - I had to go to hospital and be monitored for half a day. They concluded it wasn't amniotic fuild, just discharge which was a big relief, I was so worried about losing amniotic fluid slowly and potential infections...

Happy anniversary lucky - shame your DH forgot and I'm sorry you had to deal with the extra worry of bleeding...I hope you're feeling a bit better today!

garden my bump is also bigger than last time and several people comment on it (like they're experts or sth - grrrr!) but when the midwife measured me last week she said I was OK for my dates...strange!

Hello ladies - i've been lurking (that sounds creepy - i've just been following everone's news really) but havent been on this thread yet! soooo... if you remember from the previous link, my DP is away and i still havent told him our happy bfp news yet. He is with his family and i know he wouldnt be able to keep the news to himself. I really dont want them all knowing yet so will wait til he is home to tell him in person.

Hi all, please can you spare any posifrikintivity sprinkles over this way? Another early scan today and I'm so scared - am 8+4 and things went wrong at 8 weeks last time (although didn't know until 12 week scan) and I'm literally making myself feel sick I'm so scared in case things have gone wrong again. Been up all night with bad dreams about bad news again

Still never had my bath boohoo, DH said he'd clean the bathroom tonight so fx for a relaxing night. Boo to work but yay to having a short week :) I've booked half day in thurs and off Friday yippee!

Good luck rock - the waiting is horrible and there is no way around it at all. You just have to steal yourself to survive the next few hours and know that the waiting will be over very soon.

Absolutely shattered at the moment - spent both afternoons this weekend crashed on the sofa, after not particularly busy mornings. I don't remember the exhaustion lasting this long with DC1 (I'm 18 weeks) and as I'm normally really active, I'm finding it a real struggle (not to mention the working f/t, dog and toddler that take up 98% of my energy on a good day anyway!!). My iron levels were fine two weeks ago, so goodness knows why I'm this tired.

gary - sorry that you're still waiting... its the not knowing when they're going to show up that is so frustrating, I found! Fingers crossed you'll get to hold your baby very very soon though and then we can have a thread baby .

Scan was amazing, Pebble was wriggling around, super strong heartbeat, and measuring 2 days ahead. Next one is 12 week scan on 22nd, but am past the point of miscarriage last time so feeling much more positive. Thankyou all for your kind words xxxxx
