Hi I'm struggling to find cute sleepsuits & other comfy items that aren't pink. So far I have tried H&M, NEXT Lovely stuff but very pink, M&S no stock in small sizes! Mothercare I really dont like there baby clothes at all! I know I'm being fussy but not keen to give her all pink first wardrobe! Any suggestions welcome.

Good luck. We ended up using "boys"

We went to Mamas and Papas last week and they have got lots of white, grey and cream coloured girl baby clothes. Including a flapper dress that dp had to prize out of my hands as we havent even had our twenty week scan yet!

Scandinavian baby clothes are generally quite unisex. Try Polarn o Pyret or google Nordic Kids?

H&M do lovely funky patterned sleepsuits, little leggings in loads of colours aswell as tops. When my DD was newborn I had loads of next sleepsuits, covered in green apples, multi coloured stripes etc. I don't particularly like pink so she had so many lovely bright clothes, spots and stripes and bold flowers. It's a shame you are struggling to find stuff, but keep looking as its definetely out there!

Nordic kids is lovely but very much out of my budget! H&M is normally great but they seen to have no newborn clothes at the moment! Mamas & papas I'm not keen on I don't like whites creams & greys I think babies should wear brights! I'm gonna give it a few Weeks & wait for new season stock to come in.
Thanks

Sainsbury's had a variety of sleepsuits in January that weren't all pink.

ChunkyPickle · 07/07/2013 14:11

M&S always had bright coloured sleep suits/babygrows.

Alternatively, buy white and dye them.

Or just wear white.. so much easier for babies to just keep them in one, boil-washable, stain removable colour!

cravingcake · 07/07/2013 14:13

You could try Asda, they had some lovely bright yellows and red stuff when i was looking not that long ago.

BumpAndGrind · 07/07/2013 14:14

Tesco have some very hungry caterpillar stuff.

Thumbwitch · 07/07/2013 14:14

Oh I LOVE the very hungry caterpillar stuff!

I love mini boden for DD (we don't do pink) and buy it on eBay at reasonable prices. Mini club at boots is quite good sometimes. As is John Lewis and I find H&M really good too.

Queazy · 07/07/2013 14:23

Jo Jo Maman Belle has lovely neutral - cream and greys and greens. I find it pricey so don't buy much but it's lovely xx

craftycottontail · 07/07/2013 14:25

Mothercare have a nice yellow range at the moment

littlestgirlguide · 07/07/2013 14:28

When I had my daughter I was (and still am!) very anti-pink. So I bought plain white cotton sleep suits and vests and tie-dyed them in lovely bright purples, turquoises, yellows and emerald green. She was very funky and unique! Cheap as chips too.

I had this same problem! Once they are 3m+ there is a lot more choice. I found lots of unisex bits ans peices at Matalan in the end.

Ivytheterrible · 07/07/2013 14:32

Try frugi as well. Not a huge range but they have a bright unisex selection.

Essexgirlupnorth · 07/07/2013 15:07

Tesco and boots do.
Hubby bought a red baby grow with a Shull and cross bones on that was in the boy section as he really hates pink!

misskatamari · 07/07/2013 15:50

I saw some cute plain coloured sleep suits in tesco recently in packs of bright colours.

Fakebook · 07/07/2013 16:03

Have you tried Pumpkin Patch online? I've bought some newborn girls clothes from there recently for my baby. I also bought dd a beautiful green dress from Next when she was born back in 2007. It depends on what colours they choose for every season, I think Next and M&S are quite good at avoiding the pink stuff for babies though through experience.

HelgatheHairy · 07/07/2013 16:10

I got some lovely neutral stuff from Next and they have some really bright stuff as well. I'm waiting for the sale to stock up a bit more. I got some nice plain stuff in Tesco as well.
