Hi I'm struggling to find cute sleepsuits & other comfy items that aren't pink. So far I have tried H&M, NEXT Lovely stuff but very pink, M&S no stock in small sizes! Mothercare I really dont like there baby clothes at all! I know I'm being fussy but not keen to give her all pink first wardrobe! Any suggestions welcome.

Sent a picture of my gorgeous dd to a relative of mine and she said' oh she's lovely but why would you dress her in navy. She should be in pink.Poor child!'All I needed after 8 hours of cluster feeding! The same week I had a lovely turquoise spotty babygro with spots and some frills on it and someone asked was I expecting to have a boy??

Smerlin · 07/07/2013 19:13

We are doing no pink as well and have found loads of things in John Lewis

Fakebook · 07/07/2013 19:50

I bought an absolutely beautiful turquoise tunic with matching spotty leggings size 0-3m for a friend who just had a baby from M&S in the sales a few weeks ago. I'm tempted to keep it for myself! Infact I'm tempted to keep all the clothes I got! I love shopping for baby girl clothes.

I found Next is good for funky babygros. I also got some nice blue and yellow outfits for my friend's newborn girl from Sainsburys.

littleomar · 07/07/2013 20:00

Sainsburys have got nice onesies atm with yellow and blue stars. I'm only 20wks or I'd have bought them.

Hulababy · 07/07/2013 20:08

Next have some bright ranges, plus a range of girls in blue. eg
www.next.co.uk/girls/newborn-girls/bright-beautiful/3

Mothercare have yellow, white, cream - though all pastel, not just pink though.

Debenhams have some non pink ones too.

VinegarDrinker · 07/07/2013 20:11

Don't know about current ranges as poor newborn DD is in all her brother's stuff, but we have had most success with bright neutral stuff from H&M, M&S, Frugi, Next and Sainsburys. Lots from eBay too.

Brugmansia · 07/07/2013 22:24

I have a boy but wanted him in neutral stuff rather than loads of baby blue. I've found M&s generally have multipacks of sleep suits in bright stripes. Some of the mothercare multi packs aren't too bad - ds currently has one with varying size spots in orange, yellow green and turquoise that came with another sleepsuit with animals in similar colours. I have also bought quite a bit from tk maxx. You need to hunt through both the boys and girls sections to find the good stuff but they have some nice Scandinavian things like katvig stripey baby gros.

FoofFighter · 08/07/2013 08:38

Boots, Woolworths (online only obv!) and M&co all have really nice girls stuff in brights rather than just bloody pink!

neversleepagain · 08/07/2013 09:31

Next do lovely unsex stuff in bright colours. I dress my twins in that mainly, not all their stuff is pink.

BlueChampagne · 08/07/2013 13:33

Buy cheap white and dye! Lots of lovely Dylon colours.

Cornwall73 · 08/07/2013 15:28

I know you said you don't like Mothercare but they currently have a 50% sale on and, apart from the inevitable pastels, they also have a good selection of sleep suits and other clothes in bright stripes, animals, and non pink florals.

LadyFlumpalot · 08/07/2013 17:38

It's expensive, but John Lewis seem to have quite a bit of non pink girls stuff in, including one very sweet sleep suit with tiny pictures of ducks!

Jo1984uk · 08/07/2013 18:31

I second John Lewis, my DD had some lovely newborn sleepsuits from there in multicoloured stripes, polka dots, butterflies and cute bright vests to match.

They did have a sale recently, they might have some left still online Smile

orderinformation · 08/07/2013 22:23

Sainsburys have nice stuff in boys section that I think are very unisex. M&S do nice primary colour vests - try online.

Or buy plain white and do one of those washing machine dyes?

noblegiraffe · 08/07/2013 22:33

Just seen some brightly coloured vests and sleepsuits in ASDA. I think if you shop around you should be able to get a good selection.
