Tell me about it. Turkey Twizzlers for me. And Walkers Cheese and Chive, the ones that many years ago used to have the Spice Girls on the packet. I know there are other varieties of cheese and chive flavour crisps but nothing else will do!

You will probably be able to find some online, or in a independent or smaller store.
I bought some a few weeks ago in our local frozen food shop, DP loves them and was overjoyed to find them and bought 3 packs

catlady1 · 21/02/2013 17:11

OMG really? I did look online but I could only find them from America and I thought they might not be the same. And the postage was extortionate anyway.

Oh my goodness, that is so random, are they the real deal!?

Would tomato flavour Snaps be a suitable substitute?

I dread something like this happening, but then my current craving isn't so easily available 24/7 - the smell of swimming baths!!! Blush

Littlemissexpecting · 21/02/2013 17:29

Markets are a great place for crisps like that. I always find tomato ketchup or Worcester sauce.
Or know anyone north of the border? My parents live in Edinburgh and their local pub stocks them!!

GuffSmuggler · 21/02/2013 17:37

I'm so glad I started this thread, I thought they had been discontinued about 20 years ago!!

I had a massive craving for Heinz tomato soup. I rushed out and bought 6 tins, tucked into one and spat it out. They obviously have a different recipe in Australia because it tasted all wrong.

Other cravings were for costa coffee chocolate twists and coffee cake, and pizza express, none of which are available here.

Mumfortoddler · 21/02/2013 22:58

ISeeSmallPeople, widescreen washer fluid, or windscreen washer fluid? One sounds like a solvent, the other a pleasant smell. Hmmm..
