Following on from teacups' thread, did you correctly guess your baby's sex?
I thought both mine were girls, only because we don't do boys in my family. I had one of each, so 50% success rate!

Nope ... DS was a girl and DD was a boy ... I always guess wrong with everyone ... so if you want to know what sex your baby is, get me to guess and then it will be the other one ... Grin

Katymac · 17/04/2006 20:47

I knew DD was a girl

I said "I Know" when they told me when she came outGrin

I'd bought girl stuff and everything

georginarf · 17/04/2006 20:47

yep, was convinced about DD

Am also now up to 15 correct guesses and NO mistakes on friends babies. I have about 4 predictions in at the moment, I have to be wrong some time surely!

charliecat · 17/04/2006 20:48

I was convinced I was having a boy and had a girl.
Had very diff preg with number two who was also a girl.
Got it very wrongGrin

Hazellnut · 17/04/2006 20:48

nope - was 99.9% sure dd was a boy....

blueteddy · 17/04/2006 20:49

have also guessed quite a few celeb babies correctly too.

sarahsbump · 18/04/2006 14:56

I had a feeling straight away that it was a boy and my 20 week scan showed its a boy but knowing my luck now everything is blue I will have a girl lol

MeAndMyBoy · 18/04/2006 15:00

Yes 100% so far - was convinced DS was a DS from the first and was right. We'll wait til November to see if my guess about a girl this time is right :)

muma3 · 18/04/2006 15:01

all 3 were boys!!!!

they came out girls Grin

HappyMumof2 · 18/04/2006 15:01

yes, I knew with both of mine

With dd I was 100% certain

PinkTulips · 18/04/2006 15:05

was so sure with d i even bought girl clothesBlush will find out in august if i keep my 100% success rate or drop to 50%, think it's a boy, actually thats an understatement i'm positive its a boy.

i also knew what my dd would look like before she was born. i bought baby hair brushes when preg, dp laughed at me saying 'what do you need that for, babies are bald', so my very motherly, sweet first words on seeing my dd were 'i told you so'! i also knew she's have his eyes.

Auntymandy · 18/04/2006 15:05

guessed all mine!Even got my mum to knot a pink cardi when before I had dd!!

Clayhead · 18/04/2006 15:20

Yes, had gut feel both times and was right. I find it weird that I just sort of knew and can't explain why.

expatinscotland · 18/04/2006 15:21

I knew they were both girls.

CarolinaMooncup · 18/04/2006 15:28

yes, was convinced ds was a boy from about 6m pg.

And hey! I wasn't wrong Smile.

Olihan · 18/04/2006 15:49

I knew ds was a boy from about 6 wks pg - and he was. was equally convinced with #2, so much so that didn't even check after delivery until dh said, 'oh my god it's a girl'. spent weeks calling her 'him'.

nooka · 18/04/2006 16:09

We were convinced dd (our no 2) was going to be another boy. We spent ages thinking of boys names, and were really thrown when she was a girl.

pinkmagic1 · 18/04/2006 16:19

Knew it was a boy first time round and pretty convinced its a girl this time!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 18/04/2006 16:34

we always referred to 'the bump' as a HE and here he is!

I was at a kids birthday party and all the girls were dancing holding hands and all the boys were running about being power rangers or what ever...
I was heavily pregnant and hoping for another little girl. The baby inside me was kicking and moving and I looked at the boistrous boys and thought... ITS A BOY...... it was.. we didn't even pick a girls name...

I 'knew' my first, dd1.
Then I also 'knew' my second, ds2.
Then was undecided with ds3.
Then wishful thinking coloured my 'knowlege' with ds4.
