lmp makes me 9/40 docs questioning 36/40?? xx

Hi all,
went to docs today coz im only meant to be 9 weeks along by lmp but my stomach has hardended and popped out already x
The doc had a feel and is sending me for an urgent scan he said sometimes people dont know there pregs till further along in pregnancy he has written on scan form, '9/40? pregs, abdo swelling, no fundal edge but ? 36/40?'
What are your thoughts could i really of been pregs without knowing? xx

OMG! Does he think you're 36 weeks?! Or am I misunderstanding? Your bump photo is bigger than mine at 18 weeks .

i wasnt small before pregnancy but obv never had a hardening of stomach befoe like this, getting appt for scan tomo hopefully :-) xx

Has your stomach gone like that recently or has it been growing for a while?

To be honest you look bigger than I did when I went into labour!

Sextuplets :-S and im guessing he thinks i could be 36 weeks he did have a good feel of my stomach and that and said it wouldnt be the first time its happend to someone.
if ithink back its been getting bigger gradually at first when i first found out i was preg (very end of oct) i just put it down to gas but thinking now it may not of been :-/ i did say to doc could it just be where organs are being pushed up and he said no it wasnt that, alos last couple of days i have felt what feels like kicking when i mentioned this to doc he wasnt surprised at all x

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 36 weeks so it is possible, it isn't that rare apparently.

OMG! Either there are lots of babies in there or you are much further along... It could be a Christmas baby.

A friend of a friend has just been told that she is 37 weeks. She had NO IDEA she was pregnant! These things do happen!

Sometimes you can get very big, very quickly. Happened to me with both of mine, hardly showing at 8 weeks, suddenly at 12 weeks looked like was 6 months pregnant with belly button popped out etc, at 20 weeks measuring bigger than full term (couldn't reach keyboard at work, driving car difficult as couldn't get close enough to the steering wheel etc). With first pregnancy had additional tests and scans to check dates, baby size, fluid levels etc but all normal, just measured very big externally. Baby perfectly normal size when eventually came out, at term. I'm short and slim so I guess there was just nowhere else for the bump to go than forward!

Not to say that you won't be further on than you think, happened to my friend who only found out she was pregnant when she went to hospital with stomach pain and they told her she was about to give birth!
