lmp makes me 9/40 docs questioning 36/40?? xx

Hi all,
went to docs today coz im only meant to be 9 weeks along by lmp but my stomach has hardended and popped out already x
The doc had a feel and is sending me for an urgent scan he said sometimes people dont know there pregs till further along in pregnancy he has written on scan form, '9/40? pregs, abdo swelling, no fundal edge but ? 36/40?'
What are your thoughts could i really of been pregs without knowing? xx

I've just looked and I think your bump is not far off mine. I'm 38 weeks!
You must have had a lucky escape from morning sickness anyway if it is the case GrinShock

Well if you are that far gone I'll be very jealous! 34 weeks today and been the longest 34 weeks ever! Probably not practical advice but wish I'd skipped 5 months. Most things are half price in Mamas & papas at mo so I'd rush down there once you know! You could be having one very interesting Christmas dinner Hun! Good luck and please update x

I know someone this happened to. She thought she was about 8 weeks pregnant, told the GP who DIDN'T examine her, just made an appointment for a scan. A week later she went into labour & gave birth to a healthy baby boy, estimated 34 weeks so he was in SCBU for a few days but is fine. A bit of a shock as it was unplanned! So just be careful! Good luck with the scan.

My friend found out she was pregnant at about 30 weeks and ended up going into labour hours after the scan confirming it (probably due to shock). She gave birth 2.5 days after finding out she was pregnant.

There's also a woman on here a lot who never knew she was pregnant until she was in labour!

Good luck! And I suggest you get some stuff sorted, measurements at this stage are much more inaccurate than early on, so you really could go into labour at anytime.
