5+5 Week scan.

I'll write this shortly.

I had a big bleed on Friday at 5+3, i went to my EPU and they checked my HGC it was 9000. The bleeding has stopped since i've been in and i'm now discharging again like i was before.

They scanned me Sunday when i was 5+5 and said they could see a 6+ week baby, just no heart beat. The wardnurse said i will more than likely start bleeding and miscarry. But she said the baby's heart may not of pushed forward but thats probably not the case.

I just feel so positive and i've read on the internet about so many woman having a 6 week scan and there being no heart beat then going back at 7-8 weeks and its on the screen thumping away. Something inside is making me feel so positive about it!

EPU booked me in on Christmas Eve... Which is a long wait.
But i got a letter through today saying my local hospital has got me a scan for next tuesday (18th) I should be 7 weeks.... I was wondering whether i should wait until Christmas Eve? and if anyone has experiences this? Xmas Smile

Thank you beckie, just want to get it over and done with really as I don't think I am going miscarry naturally. Scared that something will go wrong this time round because It's my 3rd!

Make sure you keep me posted, my fingers and toes are crossed tightly for you! xxxxx

Thankyou, still having lots of pains. Been to doctors today they took my hcg but don't know result yet, so I'm guessing that should give some kind of clue to whats happening xxxx

Thank you lotsofcheese family haven't been that supportive, my mum didn't even take time of work to take me tomorrow when i know she could of had time of work. Sad xxx

No I've to ring up around lunch time today. I'm feeling very ill now, but I don't know not feeling too great about it, just want the scan to hurry so I know what's happening either way. 5 days to go.

Just got my result its 36556. And it was 2100 last week so think thats good sign xxxx

Yay, atleast its going up! How many weeks are you when i was 5+5 my HGC was 9000! But my pregnancy before that when i was 6 weeks it was only about 2500, weird how pregancies can be so different.

Only 5 days Xmas Smile that's gone quite quickly? Xxx

So sorry I only just seen you had replied, I was 5+5 when it was 2 thousand and 6+6 when it was 36 thousand. But I think I'm 3 days less than that or maybe more, cause pretty sure I ovulated late. I'm supposed to be 7+3 by lmp now but really doubt Il be that. I'm ok just really exhausted keep having to lay down all time.

How did it all go hun? And how are you? Xxx

Good to hear your ok Smile sounds positive that your HGC level has gone up! Only two days left!

I'm fine, had my D&C On Thursday as they decided after me waiting in hospital for 5 hours Wednesday they couldn't fit me in! Not bled yet, but getting pain not sure whether that's normal but its copeable :).xxx

I know im so nervous for tomorow morning, had lots of pain in my back tomorow, and my tummy is so swollen.

My god the waiting hospitals put you through is rediculous. I hope your feeling ok in yourself xxx

Just had my scan all is ok, there was a baby with a heartbeat, I'm less than I thought I was though, 6+6 but he says its give or take upto 5 days. Suppose to be around 7+5 xxx
