5+5 Week scan.

I'll write this shortly.

I had a big bleed on Friday at 5+3, i went to my EPU and they checked my HGC it was 9000. The bleeding has stopped since i've been in and i'm now discharging again like i was before.

They scanned me Sunday when i was 5+5 and said they could see a 6+ week baby, just no heart beat. The wardnurse said i will more than likely start bleeding and miscarry. But she said the baby's heart may not of pushed forward but thats probably not the case.

I just feel so positive and i've read on the internet about so many woman having a 6 week scan and there being no heart beat then going back at 7-8 weeks and its on the screen thumping away. Something inside is making me feel so positive about it!

EPU booked me in on Christmas Eve... Which is a long wait.
But i got a letter through today saying my local hospital has got me a scan for next tuesday (18th) I should be 7 weeks.... I was wondering whether i should wait until Christmas Eve? and if anyone has experiences this?

It's been nice talking to you too, think I'd go insane if it wasn't talking to people in a similar situation, cause my partner certainly dusnt understand. Not long at all, what time do you have to be there? Xx

Same! Half 11, so going to have a little lie in to speed it up. What time is yours on christmas eve? Xx

Yea thats best thing. Mines at 10am so once I've sorted kids etc its come already its just such a struggle fitting a litre of water in at that time cause its so hectic lol xxx

So now I'm bleeding again, just been toilet and its red blood mixed with a stringy mucus :( not looking good xxx

I don't have to drink water as im only 7 weeks. Atleast your scan is early morning! I got my boyfriend a Sid the sloth beanie (ice age) as he nicknamed baby Siddy after it (because baby and me are lazy) . So I decided if its bad news I'm going to give it to him to cheer him up after scan, even though it was for christmas. xxx

Oh beckie, remember to think positive! Many woman have told me positive stories, remember you had bleeding in your first pregnancy which resulted with a beautifil baby. Xxx

Hello. I remember replying to a thread you posted quite recently about this pregnancy. Sorry to hear you've been bleeding, especially after your horrific year. Will be crossing my fingers for you tomorrow and hoping you have good news. If not, so very very sorry. X

Me too riley so wonder y they told me to drink a litre of fluid I swear my hosi don't know what there on with, I know I think its just the pains that worry me most xxx

Beckie, You can easily empty your bladder, i only had pain this morning none since then just bleeding. I hate being so negative but i know its not good news! Most hospitals dont know what there on about xx

I know lol. Are u still bleeding? I've still got pain, no more blood as yet. It's so strange, its in my back mainly very much like start of labour. God its awful not knowing what's happening.

And that's a good way to look at life riley I've said that also, the bad things in life make us a hell of a lot stronger and I take my hat off to you I really do x xx

The 3 times ive been today I've had to change my pad and it nearlly filled toilet with bliod but just then pad clean and feesh toilet water, let's hope it stays that way! Pain could be from constipation?

I think thats how every woman having a difficult pregnancy sees it that way, i think the worst thing to see is bloody knickers in pregnancy! Xxx

No not constipated am still quite regular luckily lots of foods don't agree with me so they send me to toilet lol.

Thats good that its stopped now, has it been clotty at all. And yes it definatly is even the smallest bit of blood is enough to scare you xxx

Bad news, baby is still in there hasnt grown much and had no heart beat. Having a d&c tomorrow and will be reffered for tests in 3 months. Thank you for all the support and Beckie keep me upto date with your baby :-) x

I hope the tests throw up some answers that help. And I'll be crossing my fingers that 2013 ends up being a very good year for you. X

Got to wait for 3 months to have tests and probably a further 3 months for results. do we are waiting for them to get back and try again.

Thank you, i hope 2013 is a better year for everyone who had gone through the pain of loosing a baby. It's defiantly made me stronger loosing 3 in 8 months. Thank you. X
