Do you know of any people that actually had their baby on their due date?

I KNOW it's not going to happen to me (well I suppose there's a 5% chance..) but feeling demotivated and would love to hear some stories about people that actually popped on their due date. Mine is 2 days away and it's only now starting to sink in that I'll be one of the minority that goes over (first baby)

I had mine on the date expected by the calender (4 days early according to the scan). I also "only" had a 6 hour labour from "is that a contraction" to her arrival.

Me! Only with my 1st though the other 2 were late by 4 days and 7 days.

Although to answer your question a friends waters broke on her due date. But dd arrived 2 days later

Me, my first. My second was a week early and third was 4 days late though.

I did with my first, no signs of impending labour before first contraction either.
Second was a different story....

I know of one. My first was early but all other friends firsts were late by between 3 days and 18 days!

My friend had her second on her due date and my SIL had her second on her due date too.

Both my boys arrived on their due date. My girls, however, we're 10 and 14 days late.

DS1 arrived the day after his due date.
DS2 arrived on his due date (after a 2 hr labour start to finish!)

Most of my mates have gone over on first baby tho.

My friends DS arrived on his due date earlier this year. Not too long a labour either

I went into labour the night of me EDD and DS was born 24hrs later (technically 2days later but it didn't seem like it)!

watching this with interest mayim as i am due in 2 days too ! lets hope we both get due date :-) .

DP's sister did with her second, but it doesn't count as she was induced. However she was only started on the induction process at 8pm, and he arrived at 11pm!

I had both my girls on their due dates :) (no intervention to get into labour) my boys were both induced early so I'll never know if they would have done too

My second child arrived bang on her due date and my best friend delivered her DS four months later on his due date! My first child was 11 days early though and my third was three days late so seemingly there's no rhyme or reason to it.

I'm due tomorrow though. I suspect I won't be having a baby on my due date - my own DS was 13 days late!

It is my birthday sunday, the one day I don't want baby to make an appearance, but sods law predicts it probably will

First one, week early. Second bang on time!

Mine did - 8pm on the EDD with my DD1 (and only but pregnant with DC2). I was sure she was going to come on her due date and she did! I asked the midwife about it and she said that the baby can come any time between 37 - 41 weeks and if it comes on the EDD then that's just a coincidence. Hmmm, not sure I buy into that.
