I've just eaten a whole jar of pickled beetroot. It was Baxters Sliced Beetroot, and if the jar had been one of the bigger ones, I'd still have eaten the whole lot.

17+3 and an absolute disgrace.

Come on then, let's have your food confessions...

I'm a teacher and today I asked one of the 6th formers to go to McDonald's at lunchtime because I NEEDED chicken nuggets Blush

noblegiraffe · 02/10/2012 21:58

Sending 6th formers out for food is genius. I'm taking notes! Grin

backwardpossom · 02/10/2012 22:01

Yeah, respect for that lurcher! I'm in school tomorrow, so might have to get my seniors on the case!

whoa, I am in awe of you ladies! I just found myself on this thread by mistake but as someone who vomited continuously through three pregnancies on not much more than rice crispies and plain white bread - I say go with the beetroot and the drumsticks!

MsInterpret · 02/10/2012 22:02

LOVE THIS THREAD.

Classics?

Rofling about the donuts. So done that.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 02/10/2012 22:03

Today I've had a bowl of overpriced sugary Jordan's country crisp cereal. A packet of belvita breakfast bars as a 'second breakfast', a packet of bacon flavoured wheat crunches, a mountain of cheesy crackers, a couple of rice cakes, a large portion of hand baked ready salted crisps a packet of mug-shots (basically an add water type food) and a bowl of supernoodles. Even though its nearly bedtime, I'm seriously considering troughing the snickers bar in my bag too.

A banana, plum, nectarine and apple are still sat on my desk at work completely untouched!!!!

newtonupontheheath · 02/10/2012 22:05

lurcher Please can I borrow some of your sixth formers?

That is a brilliant idea Grin

noblegiraffe · 02/10/2012 22:07

Oh, I'm not such a disgrace then, I had an apple and a banana, even if I did top them up with nice and spicy nik naks and various fun sized chocolate bars. Oh dear, and nutella on toast. And a cadbury's fudge chocolate pudding.

Bugger, I was thinking I'd done quite well today.

lurcherlover · 02/10/2012 22:09

They were amazing - they also got me fries and a milkshake that I hadn't even asked for! Nom nom nom Grin

Flosshilde · 02/10/2012 22:12

I have just got home from work (where I have been since 8.30am) and inhaled one packet ready salted crisps and 1 large lump cheese. On top of the two servings of dinner I had from the work canteen, rice krispies for brekky, cheese and biscuits for a snack at 9am, 2 large sarnies for lunch with a bag of crisps and various other cracker related things throughout the afternoon.

I can't eat anything sweet (gives me terrible indigestion and sickness) but savouries are not safe anywhere near me.

I'm 14+1 and just regaining my appetite.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 02/10/2012 22:17

10 weeks here. I've been having breakfast at home, some cereal and toast usually. Them about 90 minutes later as I'm about three minutes from work I pop into costa for an egg and cheese toasted muffin. Then I go and get my lunch at about eleven am. Am surprised I'm not in my maternity clothes already Blush

Sod's law I get a craving for carbs, any carbs. Have to have something bread based every two hours or I feel like I will pass out with hunger. Hadn't touched salad for weeks until Monday so maybe I'm turning a corner? But, yeah, DH hasn't got a clue how much I eat in a day.....

tamster83 · 02/10/2012 22:30

SquealyB · 03/10/2012 14:47

24 Jaffa cakes yesterday Blush, then 2/3 of a 2-person apple crumble in two sittings, with masses of Caramel Chew Chew ice cream with each portion.

39+4 and I don't think the bump is all baby Blush

BooBumpDaddyandMe · 03/10/2012 21:47

Really grateful that the urge for disgraceful quantities of cake (any sort) has now left me at 34 weeks. Don't even fancy cake much now but do like a double glug of Gaviscon Advance at bedtime "just in case" when in fact I haven't had any heartburn for a few weeks now, rather if just tastes like pudding?!? shame

noblegiraffe · 03/10/2012 21:53

24 jaffa cakes? That's two packets? Shock

I unwrapped a sticky sweet today and it fell on my classroom floor. For a brief moment I contemplated eating it anyway then remembered that would be grim and besides, I had more in my bag.

Anytime I visit a supermarket I accidentally neck a whole large bottle of innocent apple or orange juice between paying and the car, and may have eaten 5 doughnuts in 2hrs the other day, tescos had 10 for £1, it was just a good job dp stuck the other pack on a shelf I can't reach. I'm nearly 29wks.
