I've just eaten a whole jar of pickled beetroot. It was Baxters Sliced Beetroot, and if the jar had been one of the bigger ones, I'd still have eaten the whole lot.

17+3 and an absolute disgrace.

Come on then, let's have your food confessions...

Four jam donuts in a row. I literally inhaled them without registering the number. Was reaching for what I thought was no 2 when I realised the pack of 5 was down to 1. Blush

I'm not buying donuts for a while.

enjay0811 · 01/10/2012 23:32

Not so much eaten a lot of 1 thing but just lots of everythin! My lunch 'bag' usually consists of a sandwich, crisps, biscuits, cereal bar, cake of some sort, yogurt, 2 types of fruit, cheesy nibbles, raisins, crackers and sometimes carrot sticks. That is after slice of toast before I leave the house, porridge when I get to work, tea when I get home followed by desert. I am truly a dustbin at the moment but starving Blush

PurplePidjin · 02/10/2012 07:38

Just to reassure those earlier on, I'm 32 weeks and have been stuffing my face for 7 months. I've put on the regulation 2 stone and it's all bump. If you're hungry, eat (healthy) food!

TheDetective · 02/10/2012 07:45

Can I reassure even more? Grin

35 weeks not even gained 1lb, and I'm eating like it's going out of fashion.

I woke at 0430 starving, so I ate a bag of crisps, 2 Rolo desserts, a cheesestring and 4 mini cheese and tomato pizzas. With added cheese Grin

I love everybody on this thread Grin Grin

nameuschangeus · 02/10/2012 07:47

Yes yes beet root was my guilty pleasure when I was pregnant. Beware though, it turns your wee a funny colour and the midwife will know GrinGrin

Missmuffet28 · 02/10/2012 07:52

Oh my!!! Those reassurance posts are the best posts I have read in ages!!!! Thankyou ladies!!! :D

margerykemp · 02/10/2012 07:52

Are these not normal eating habits?

celebmum · 02/10/2012 07:57

Another one for FRAZZLES here! Normally munching through 5/6 bags a day!? Eeek! GrinGrinGrin

missnevermind · 02/10/2012 07:59

Mind that beetroot doesn't give you a scare this morning!

1stbabyat30 · 02/10/2012 08:06

I have had no appetite at all for the whole of my pregnancy until last week - week 20. I surprised myself by eating two large chicken kievs and two very large baked potatoes and two salads for tea. Basically - I ate my partners dinner. He didn't mind though bless him.

I hope I get some crazy cravings soon - would love some! Only thing I have wanted so far is chicken kievs and apple crumble mmm..... Also I have a desperation for Bernard Mathews Turkey Drummers that I haven't eaten since I was 16.

Wuxiapian · 02/10/2012 12:13

Since awakening, I've consumed:

2 runny eggs with 2 toast and marmite
1 ring doughnut from Greggs
2 packets prawn cocktail Walkers
8 dark choc Digestives
1 coffee
150g bag Haribo horror mix

And about to scour the fridge.

25.2 weeks

Clarella · 02/10/2012 12:16

Considered starting a separate thread for this..... but sort of related -

Disgrace leading to desperation: I struggle so much to get the anusol suppositories open that I've taken to keeping a pair of pliers beside my bed in order to grip one side and use teeth to pull other side. Two pairs of pliers would be ideal but felt excessive. Never thought I needed stomach muscles for opening pessary packets....Blush

MickeyTheShortOne · 02/10/2012 18:27

Wotsits. All day. Everyday. My baby will come out orange and wotsit shaped!
I am also suffering from the "inhaling doughnuts" infliction.

This thread is BRILLIANT.

Pack of 4 YumYums from Greggs in one slow afternoon at the office Blush

MickeyTheShortOne · 02/10/2012 18:33

Oh god. I'd forgotten about the box of Yumyums I bought in sainsburys last week. They were also gone in a day.

backwardpossom · 02/10/2012 18:38

I've not been quite so bad today... Bad enough though! I took DS out for lunch (got my midwife appointment time mixed up, so decided to go for lunch to waste time until when my appointment actually was) and as well as eating my lunch, I ate his too... Including the cake he decided he didn't like.

OP posts:
backwardpossom · 02/10/2012 18:47

Oh, and cooked an extra fish finger for me when I bunged his in the oven... (5 star eating in this house tonight - can't. be. bothered.)

PurplePidjin · 02/10/2012 18:48

There's a syrup sponge in the oven. Dp might get a sniff...

Coleminer · 02/10/2012 19:23

I am regularly sneaking a second breakfast in from the canteen at work!

GrandPoohBah · 02/10/2012 20:12

I've found a cafe which will do me pie and cake for lunch. This makes me happier than I could possibly explain...

newtonupontheheath · 02/10/2012 20:16

Poor show here today.... Bought 4 egg custards and only ate 3 of them.

Tried to blag DH telling him I'd "saved" one for him.... But he knew they were on offer 4 for a pound. Busted Blush Grin

Nicky1306 · 02/10/2012 20:45

LOVE this thread , for breakfast I regularly have nesquick at home, then pop to shop while at work and get a mars drink and two tracker bars, followed by yoghurt mid morning, loving milk right now!

I've eaten 6 of those perle de lait yoghurts since yesterday the coconut ones are my favourite but I'm not fussy Grin

Last week I ate 4 of a 6 pack of mince pies and then shared the rest with dp, 6 mince pies in a day! BlushBlush xx

SoYo · 02/10/2012 21:06

17 (yes I really do mean 17) celebrations from the communal box at work just before my lunch. No food is safe around me at the moment. Plus I've now taken to getting into my M&S onesie with a big hoodie and make-up off the minute I get in from work. DH is such a lucky man. 18 weeks and just so glam!

MB34 · 02/10/2012 21:21

I love this thread - don't feel like such a freak now lol!

A couple of weeks ago, for people in work I bought a pack of 5 Thornton's brand brownie slice type things and as no-one was eating them, I scoffed 4 in one go!! I would have eaten the fifth but I felt like such a pig, I couldn't bring myself to (I did have it the next day though lol!)
