A quick poll - when did you give birth to your first?

I think it's something like 60% go overdue with their first isn't it? Just thought id do a quick poll to see when yours arrived.

I'm a few weeks off yet (34+2) and expecting to be late as my mum was both times (not sure if this has any bearing in it...

40+4 induced

One week early. Induced since my waters broke. My friend had hers on her due date. I think it's because she's German .

(Wednesday 16th March 2011) 39+5 - Contractions began
(Friday 18th March 2011) 40- Was measured at 4cm in the evening
(Saturday 19th March 2011) 40+1- at 19:10 DS was born :)

38+1 after a sweep.

40 + 15 refused induction

40+8 induced

Waters broke at 36+6 and dd born by emergency caesarean at 37+1. Although I wasn't sure that my edd was correct

37 weeks - I had to be induced as it was picked up on a scan all my amniotic fluid had gone and I had no idea.

I went two weeks over with both and got induced. Looking back, dating scans messed with my dates with both. Im convinced that neither were ready. Next time, Id be very tempted to sit tight and wait them out.
Saying that, its easy to say now when Im not the size of a house! I do remember seeing the consultant on day 14, being told I could come back on monday, and stamping my foot! "The bags in the car, Im STAYING!"

39 weeks

38+5

Big surprise as the previous day the midwife had said nothing was happening and I'd definitely go to term (which is 41 weeks in this country).

12 months ago yesterday

DD1 - 38 weeks
DD2 - 39+6

My mum went at 37 weeks with all 3 of hers.

DS1: 38+0
DS2: 40+1
DS3: 38+1

Longest labour was 3 hours 5 minutes. Shortest labour was 2 hours 16 minutes.

38+4 DS1 (induced at 38+3 ended in EMCS)
DS2 im electing get my date end o nov but likely to be between 38 and 39 weeks depending on medical conditions

I had DS at 40+6

My mum was 40+7 with my brother and 40+16 with me and refused induction!

Exactly seven days early. Due on my birthday, ended up born on my little brother's birthday!

Dd 40+10 waters broke but had to have my labour speeded up.

1st 40+3 after a 3 day slow labour.
2nd 40+3 after a 3 day slow labour
I'm hoping this baby is not the same.

40+10 no induction

Term + 1 with DS.

40 + 13. Refused induction, 4 hour labour. Currently 39 + 6 with DC2 & impatient!

exactly 2 weeks over due
was due to go in for induction, but she arrived on her own anyway

my mum was 2 weeks overdue with me and my two siblings - so maybe there is something in that!??!

42 weeks Induced !

I was 40 + 11 and was induced. Happily cuddling my 11 day old son

My wee sister went 40 + 3 and her wee girl is a month old now
