Tall husbands = big babies ???

How tall are your husbands and how big were your babies?
I'm just wondering if there is any correlation as my htb is 6'4", which makes me in first time pregnancy very afraid indeed lol.

DH 6'4" and around 7.5/8lb at birth (I gather). Me 5'1" and nearly 6lb full term. DS born at 42 weeks 7lb 9oz.

I remember worrying about this when I was pregnant with DD- XP is 6'6".

A midwife told me to find out his birthweight and my own as they were more reliable indicators. Both around 7lb, DD 6lb 9oz

I've had two "solid citizens" as the consultant put it. DH is 6'2".

Babies 9.1 and 10.4.

But could just be down to the amount I ate during both pregnancies.

DH only 5'6 .. DD 9 15. Who knew? Sob.

I think women are genetically predisposed to grow babies of a particular size. I'm very tall (5'10) and had nice 7lb-ers. Although dh is the same height as me he was 9 1/2lbs at birth
