Scan went really well, baby is doing perfectly, although measuring 2wks bigger than my due date, so 38+5 not 36+5! Not that I'm complaining the older two were small and caused a lot of concern.

I'm booked for 19th Dec 7am! Aaargh! The race is on...wonder where bonzo will place Grin
I could have been on the 17th or 18th but they already had a person each day so I took a clear one incase emergencys come in etc I'd go crazy waiting. All seemed very sureal choosing its birthday!

AlphaBeta82 · 29/11/2012 16:43

Oh Milli I am so sorry for your loss
Cad my thoughts are with you and Rachel is a beautiful name
Wifey please try to stay positive, I am keeping everything crossed for you and understand every word of what you say about your worries and fears. I had lots of cramping with this pregnancy and seems it was just uterus stretching.
Wonderful news state we are all so excited for you! xx

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 16:45

Thank you Alpha...everyone today has been a wonderful support & really helped with how upset & anxious I've been. Envy

gemdrop84 · 29/11/2012 17:51

WLmum · 29/11/2012 17:58

cad hope you're ok lovely x

State great news! 19th December eek! That's really soon! Grin

WLmum · 29/11/2012 18:58

state the answer to the pains is a long hot bath followed by a nice long lay down with a good book! Felt so much better today after I threw in the towel and did just that last night.

millimurphy · 29/11/2012 22:32

Wifey - try not to worry - my very best wishes for you tomorrow.

State - No wonder you feel big if you are 38+5! You go girl and look forward to your early Christmas pressie.

Alpha - for gods sake rest woman.

Cad - hope you are OK

Thanks Count - the 'no heartbeat' bit is awful. Thank-you all you other ladies for the lovely wishes. I feel curiously relieved. I am glad I saw my little one and will get to bury her. This really has been one of the most surreal moments in my life. Sorry if this sounds weird.

Coming back to check on everyone soon - a good nights sleep to all Smile.

Countmyblessings · 30/11/2012 02:07

Milli - big hug hope all goes well xx
Cad - how's everything with you, how you feeling?
It must be so nice to have an exact date of when you'll have baby and no uncertain dates and maybes!!!!! Good date State!!!!
WL - have you got a date??? If your having an CS?
Backwards - how's you ?
Wifey - all the best with your scan I know how your feeling never got a wink of sleep the Nights before my scans!!! But sending positive good scan vibes your way!!!!
Off work with pelvic and back pains - ohhh the joy can start packing!!!

Cadmum · 30/11/2012 04:15

Thank you to everyone who asked after me/us. I am up and down. Sometimes I feel ok and then sometimes I feel tearful. I always feel as though my body has failed and I try not to imagine our unborn struggling to stay alive. (Sorry for that graphic image.)

Thinking of you And your scan today, wifey.

Sending you a hug millie. I know that surreal feeling... It is not an experience I would wish on anyone.

wifey6 · 30/11/2012 09:05

Oo Cad...have been thinking of you. Hoping you have supportive people in RL.

Thank you all for your kind posts.
Did not sleep well at all last night. Had a bath & an early night. Woke this morning feeling dreadful, fearful & could quite easily not go Hmm
Ignorance is bliss right?
But I know I have to & will have to face whatever happens.

Cadmum · 30/11/2012 09:33

Thinking of you wifey and sending courage from across the sea... Hoping to discover that you are crying tears of joy following your scan. Any cramping this morning?

wifey6 · 30/11/2012 09:39

Cad...your kindness means so much. Thank you
No..not really. Last had the crampy feeling yesterday evening. Just feel achy.
It doesn't seem that long ago I was going for my last pregnancy..so it all feels very surreal somehow. :(

millimurphy · 30/11/2012 09:40

Good luck Wifey.

Feel like my body is a failure as well Cad. I can't say my experience has been anything like yours - I don't think I would have had your courage. I have a scan tomorrow to make sure everything is 'clear' and will probably need an anti-D injection due to funny blood!

Hope you all have a good day Smile.

AlphaBeta82 · 30/11/2012 09:43

Thinking of you Wifey - best of luck today.

Cad I keep thinking about you and sending all the good wishes I can your way. I hope you are taking all the time and rest you need. xx

I swear I felt this one kicking yesterday, shocked me as only 14 weeks but really felt like little distinct kicks! Maybe I am just going a bit nuts. Work has been so full on and what with a number of things going it has been a very stressful week which I think has made the sickness come back in force!

Did anyone else notice symptoms a lot worse if stress? my sickness seems to be directly linked to my stress levels?

AlphaBeta82 · 30/11/2012 09:48

Sending you hugs Milli, having been in your position the last 3 pregnancies I feel for you so much. Look after yourself and don't make the mistake I did - i never gave myself the space to process or grieve and decided I was strong enough just to let it go - it didn't it just all built up!
I'm glad you've been able to bury your little one, hopefully it will help you process it all. xx

StateofConfusion · 30/11/2012 11:19

alpha I know I felt this one at 13wks as baby was curled up in that exact spot and I felt it as I saw it move on a scan at 14wks, we are so tuned into our bodys after a loss analysing things, I think this is our reward noticing wriggles sooner :)

AlphaBeta82 · 30/11/2012 13:59

Thanks state - thats a nice thought and convinces I am not going mad! Grin

MrsReiver · 30/11/2012 14:30

Braxton Hicks all day after a bit of a drama this morning, can't wait until I finish work at 1515 so I can get in my jammies and lie on the sofa. Feeling really tearful as well. Wish DH was here [bsad]

But I am LOVING the Scottish smilies! [bgrin] Happy St Andrew's Day to any fellow Scots out there.

wifey6 · 30/11/2012 15:12

Back from scan..beautiful heartbeat!! Measuring a few days bigger than EDD but sonographer said it varies but a really positive to be slightly bigger. I was so expecting bad news, after last time, that to see baby ok was incredible.
Thank you for all your support, kindness & hand holding.

MrsReiver · 30/11/2012 16:20

Oh wonderful news Wifey, that feeling of relief is the best thing ever isn't it?

wifey6 · 30/11/2012 16:27

It really is MrsReiver. Smile
Called my DH as soon as I could & it was very emotional. Now have about 3 weeks to wait til 12 week scan (but it will be early because of Christmas).

gemdrop84 · 30/11/2012 16:27

Grin fab news wifey I've been having braxton hicks on and off for the last couple of hours. Feel knackered, dp is off out with a mate later so I'm planning on vegging on the sofa watching a couple of naff dvd's (prob twilight!) and eating a box of maltesers. Hope you're in your pj's and relaxing now mrsr sounds like you've had a rough day x
