Barbie in the nutcracker here, not my choice but dd is happy, and quiet!

I had to let dd have the tv on most of yesterday afternoon, felt so miserable and had no energy whatsoever. I ended up snoozing/feeling sorry for myself on sofa and she watched toy story and spongebob. Felt very guilty when dp got home and he had to clean up, do tea etc Sad It's getting frustrating, just trying to get the basics done. I'm not sleeping great and getting mood swings. Seem to feel a lot better today, done some cleaning, washing and just about to prepare a lasagne while I still have the energy. Feeling my back starting to twinge so think it's time for a sit down, cup of tea and a biscuit Smile hope you're all ok

backwardpossom · 07/12/2012 16:49

... but I did get the job I had an interview for this afternoon! Yay! Xmas Grin

WLmum · 07/12/2012 17:30

Great news backwards well done! Treat yourself to a big glass of fizzy water! That's brilliant, it's tough out there so you must have done really well. Hooray for you! X

elliejjtiny · 07/12/2012 17:36

congratulations bonzo on your little boy and backwardpossum on the job.

I had a panic on wednesday, didn't feel sick all afternoon. Was all "I can't lose this baby, I'll be letting DS1 down, the royal baby will be a constant reminder of what I've lost for the rest of my life etc etc"

Then yesterday I was sick 18 times Xmas Grin Xmas Envy

AlphaBeta82 · 07/12/2012 17:44

Well done backwards and yay for sickness ellie (never imagined I'd be in a situation where I genuienely meant that comment)
Good news on scan - keeping everything crossed for you but sure it'll go wonderfully!

backwardpossom · 07/12/2012 17:50

Thank you Xmas Grin

Ellie 18 times?! Oh dear!

elliejjtiny · 07/12/2012 17:52

My personal best for this pregnancy but it was worse with DS1. I remember having my head down the loo while DH was saying how sickness was a really good sign, not quite close enough for me to hit him Xmas Grin

WLmum · 07/12/2012 17:53

Out of interest backwards how were they about being pg? Ok obviously which is good to hear, but just wondered how it played out?

WLmum · 07/12/2012 17:55

Wow Ellie that's really something! Poor you, hope it settles down soon.

backwardpossom · 07/12/2012 18:09

They were absolutely fine with it, WLmum - just bad timing really!

WLmum · 07/12/2012 18:16

That's great, will you be able to go back there after you've had a period of mat leave?

backwardpossom · 07/12/2012 18:35

Yes - I'm not breaking service by moving schools, so I'm entitled to the same as normal :)

WLmum · 07/12/2012 18:36

Fab! Couldn't have worked out better then. Better make it 2 glasses of fizzy water!

MrsReiver · 07/12/2012 18:38

Congrats due all round! Well done on the new job Backward, and huge congrats on your little boy Bonzo!

WL , State and Ellie I'm sorry you're having a rough time, hope you all manage to get some rest and feel better soon.

Whooping cough vac this morning, my lovely DH had the day off some came along for moral support. Arm a little sore, but not too bad at all!

001001 · 07/12/2012 19:24

Congratulations backwards, a lovely new job, when does it start? WL. and state, hope the next few weeks pass quickly for you.

I am having a sad day, would have been my dad's birthday today but he passed away in October last year at the far too young age of 57, exactly one month before I lost my baby at 16 weeks so lots of thoughts going round my head. Even wrote happy birthday on his fb page which we can't bring ourselves to close Blush

Happy birthday daddy. Wine

WLmum · 07/12/2012 19:32

Ah 001 sorry to hear that, it really must be so very tough. Reminds us to cherish those we love.

mrs I hope your arm doesn't get too sore, despite hearing others having very sore arms from whooping cough and flu jabs, mine were absolutely fine.

gemdrop84 · 07/12/2012 19:40

great news backwards congratulations! hope your arm isn't too sore mrsr 001 big hugs to you x

StateofConfusion · 07/12/2012 20:37

Huge hugs 001 x

Congratulations backward

Don't lay on it if you can avoid it mrs mine was a bit sore then I slept on it and was very uncomfortable for a few days.

Thanks state, I would give it a go but only have my phone so not sure I'd be able. Hope you feel better today, not entirely sure I do so far!

StateofConfusion · 08/12/2012 10:26

Its a year today since my MMC was discovered so I feel a bit weird.

Will sort the new thread shortly.

Oh bless u x

gemdrop84 · 08/12/2012 14:16

I understand state, my last mc was 10th Jan this year and with ds's due date on 17th it will be very weird. Also starting to feel slightly afraid I'm going to hog him a bit after he's born and I'm going to be seen as being a bit precious as most people don't quite know what's happened in last couple of years.
