Oo dear WLmum...feet up for you.

Had booking-in app yesterday. MW was really lovely & understanding.
She is going to 'sneak' me in for an early scan about 10+ weeks & has said hopefully I will have my 12week scan before Xmas. Fingers crossed. 8weeks today.
Had a melt-down earlier...I just need to know everything is ok. Sad

StateofConfusion · 28/11/2012 12:07

WL I've been getting pains too, last two nights, bloody uncomfortable aren't they, I wanted to put some christmas decorations up today as I've got a lot on the next week or so but I'm yet to get up, I got the dcs sorted and off to school and went straight back to bed.

Good luck with your scans wifey :)

cad ill hope and pray for you, I've only had 1st trimester losses but there has been two still births in my family to add to my anxiety, I know that need for something to make you feel safe, if someone told me to lick a tree daily to ensure a healthy baby I sure as hell would do it!

Thank you state..Smile
Hope your pains subside. Feet up with some nice food & a cuppa may be in order.

WLmum · 28/11/2012 20:08

state and bonzo let's make sure we post from hospital (if possible) so we can wave to each other!

I have been so uncomfortable today, am feeling quite nervous. Am going to try having a soak in the bath - hope a quick bit of r and r will help.

StateofConfusion · 28/11/2012 20:39

Oh I will post from hospital for sure, I go stir crazy with boredom and I've just topped up my phone to ensure I have my internet bolt on active over christmas and babys arrival, yes I'm sad, but Mumsnets good company :)

I got stuck on the floor today, dd found it most annoying as she wanted a drink, I've become pretty frustrated with the whole pregnancy thing, I never felt unable to do things before but this time I feel a bit useless, and get uncomfortable so often, I love a good bath, makes me feel so relaxed but then I can't get out, I have a stupid bath.

I'm fairly convinced this baby is trying to burst from my belly like something from Alien. The pressure behind my belly button is so uncomfortable. I wouldn't be surprised if my growth scan next week reveals I'm carrying a giant - I'm huge already!

StateofConfusion · 28/11/2012 21:47

As nice as it is, its unpleasant when its like that hey mrs I often feel like my skin will split.

Well its my final scan tomorrow morning, I get my elcs date, really hope they don't make me wait to long, I'm so uncomfortable!

Cad- thanks for staying in touch on this thread I can only imagine how hard it is! Rachel is a beautiful name and so glad you managered getting through it all!!! I don't understand why they asked if your in pain and then don't offer any painkillers!!! Like what you had to endure wasn't pain enough!!!!! I do hope your boobs are not as painful now! It's just another cruel and in real way your body preparing for a baby!!!! Milk donation is a lovely thought but wouldn't that just make your body produce more milk?
Anyway so glad your getting support from DH and I hope you can see a future not to far from now when you start TTC and you get pregnant quickly!
Sending hugs, best wishes, thoughts and prayers to you both xx

Countmyblessings · 29/11/2012 05:45

Wifey - hand holding time for you! I know how your
Feeling the days, weeks couldn't go fast enough for me but I had a great epu section and they understood the importance of getting early scans!!
Have had loads through this pregnancy and makes such a difference in how you cope with being pregnant again after a loss!
25 weeks here loads if movement which helps me know all is well!
I'm liking this race to the finish for you ladies awaiting to have babies soon!!!!! Nice to know you'll have babies before next year!!!!

millimurphy · 29/11/2012 06:38

Had spotting last few days. Midwife arranged a scan yesterday and confirmed the worst. No heartbeat. They said the baby measured 7 weeks and 4 days. Went through all the options with nurse and decided for the 'medical management' procedure. She gave me a pill and I am due to go back Saturday for a pessary or something. The nurses moniter you and I would be there for about 6 hours.

Don't think I will need to - had cramps all night and passed a small baby in an egg sack this morning. Now don't know what to do with the poor little blighter. Feel slightly hysterical as husband suggested we bury him/her next to the recently departed goldfish. Very shaky at the moment -but I don't seem to be bleeding as badly as last time.

Not sure what to do now. At least I didn't have to wait till Xmas Eve.

Hope you doing alright Cad. Don't worry Wifey - just take it a day at a time. Best wishes to the rest of you ladies - fingers crossed for you all. State - you are nearly there now! I will let you know how everything goes. Thank-you all for the support.

Cadmum · 29/11/2012 07:29

Milly: My heart aches for you. I am so, so sorry. Life is cruel and confusing beyond measure sometimes. I am sending you an unmumsnetty {{ hug}}. Take care of yourself.

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 07:32

milli...so incredibly sorry Sad no words can describe. Be gentle with yourself. My thoughts and prayers are with you & your DH. I could have written your post 7 months ago. Sad
I thank you for offering such kind words to support me.
count thank you for your kind words. Each day feels like a rollercoaster. I'm trying not to be so anxious..but it will hit me that there's no guarantee & it could already be over Sad then I break down.
Hoping the next 2+ weeks go quickly til scan.
That's so good your EPU is so good. The reassurance is vital isn't it.

My thoughts and prayers are with those how have had sad news. Sad

MrsReiver · 29/11/2012 09:07

Oh Milli, I'm so so sorry. You and your husband will be in my thoughts.

Wifey - a few months ago was exactly where you were, the anxiety and waiting is unbearable, I have everything crossed that you will get the reassurance you crave sooner rather than later!

Count - before you know it, it will be our turn and this lot will have 2 month old babies!

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 09:14

MrsReiver...thank you. May have to be seen earlier than I thought at EPU. Having stomach pains which may be nothing..but a constant worry for me. Sad

Cadmum · 29/11/2012 09:26

I hope you can be seen quickly, wifey. The waiting and not knowing is an exquisite form of torture.

MrsReiver · 29/11/2012 09:46

Wifey, I really do hope you're seen quickly. I know a number of ladies on here (including me) had cramps in the early stages and it turned out to be nothing to worry about, but it's definitely best to get these things checked out.

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 10:09

Thank you Cad & MrsReiver...MW said that the EPU may not see me unless I am spotting. Sad But she said she would try her best. The other EPU is further away, self-referral but is only open one hour a day. It will be very difficult to get there Sad & is also where our previous scans were done earlier this year Sad so really do not want to go back there.
Just want them to take my concerns seriously Sad
Thank you both for your kindness..really means a lot x

Cadmum · 29/11/2012 10:47

I am sorry wifey. Being at the mercy of the system can be exhausting. I hope the EPU is willing to see you. The spotting policy is what leads people to tell fibs...

Thinking of you today, state. I hope your appointment goes well.

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 11:21

MW just called...she told EPU about my previous MMC & told them how anxious I am & they are willing to see me tomorrow lunch time. I have a specific appointment so won't be on a first-come, first-serve basis. I'm pleased she really helped me, yet so scare at the same time. Sad
I feel awful even moaning/whinging when those of you are currently going through worse. SadBlush

Countmyblessings · 29/11/2012 13:02

My thoughts and prayers are with you Milli - I know that pain of being told " no heartbeat" I think those words will haunt me forever! Even now until this baby is born I am just scared!!!
I have no advice of how or where you want to place your baby - but wherever it is, I hope you get comfort knowing you can go to the place and visit and place flowers!! I know a few ladies who planted a tree or a flower in the place so watching it grow brought comfort!
Cad- big hug xx
MrsReiver - I hear that just seems so far away!

WLmum · 29/11/2012 13:06

milli so sorry to hear that news, had so hoped that none if us on this thread would have to go through the hurt again.

wifey so glad you are getting seen quickly. Fingers crossed for you. Xx

gemdrop84 · 29/11/2012 14:34

milli am very sorry to hear the news Sad and cad rachel is a beautiful name, my thoughts are with both of you and your families ladies xx wifey good luck and hope you get seen asap x

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 14:48

Thank you Gem & WLmum
So anxious about tomorrow. Sad

Cadmum · 29/11/2012 15:00

wifey Please try not to worry. Not that my long distance hand holding is very helpful but I am happy to offer it. Do keep posting here and try to remain positive. Crampy feelings can be your uterus stretching to accommodate your growing baby.

wifey6 · 29/11/2012 15:09

Cad...thank you so much & your hand holding is very much accepted & appreciated. I just can't shake those feelings of dread. Trying so hard to be positive but it feels so hard. By this time tomorrow..I will know what's going on.
Enough about me..
How are you doing Cad?
