I piled on 5 stone in my last pregnancy going from 10 stone to 15. I lost 4 in the 18 months between pregnancies and now my weight feels like its going on fast again. I had borderline GD with my first and have tested negative so far but they'll test again at 28 weeks. I am not exercising apart from running after DS but would like to start, I have SPD and think controlling my weight might stop this getting worse. I also think the weight goes on because I control my weight normally by dieting (low carb/latest fad) every few months if it creeps out of my comfort zone and I obviously don't want to do that pregnant. Does anyone have any advice? I do avoid junk mostly but have trouble with portion control and seem to be constantly hungry. Maybe more protein?
