Nub theory experts??

Hii ladies, had my 12 week ultrasound yesterday. Thought instantly boy bouncing around the screen, but when we got home and had a good look at scan pics, we just don't no going by this nub theory. is there any truth too it and any experts care to give an opinion:)

Firstly thought boy without a doubt, but when picture is tilted so ur looking at baby lying straight the little nub seems to be straight? oh im no good at this haha, all fun anyways. any guesses welcome :)

I don't think you can tell at 12 weeks as nothing is properly formed yet?

Apparently u can by the "angle of the dangle" haha. im not sure how accurate it is. But its just for fun anyway :)

I'm fairly sure it's a girl. What I think you're seeing is actually above the nub and I'd say is cord. The nub itself, if that's what I see (it's a really unclear pic) is parallel to the spine.

didn't think of that bunty, was wondering why there was a couple of lines there. i have 1 more pic. ill put up now. im not sure its any clearer but theres 1 short straight line on that too. how accurate is this theory? x

I would guess girl too, under 30 degrees is meant to be a girl, over 30 degrees boy, not sure how accurate it is but there is a site wiv lots of scan pics and you can guess and see if you are right and most of the time I got it right so it could be true. Can't remember the site btw tried to get back on myself and couldn't find it :( let us all know when you find out :) x

I would say boy - but maybe I am looking at the wrong bit...

What was the babies heartbeat? I think that is meant to be an indicator too?
