Also tuning in to see if there's any news Smile

LauraPalmer · 06/08/2012 08:22

I've peed on hundreds of £££ worth of sticks and never had a evap line either. But I have had super faint lines come up after the recommended time and they've ended up positive. Wink

ValiumQueen · 06/08/2012 08:24

Sounds promising then laura

MikeLitorisRings · 06/08/2012 14:10

Any news OP?

LauraPalmer · 06/08/2012 14:16

Yes, Val in the current pregnancy I'm at 13+2 and wishing this nausea would go away!

And OP, this one started out as several days worth of ridiculously faint faint faint lines. Hope all is well with you.

LordOfThe5Rings · 07/08/2012 06:48

Ok so back again.

Had another test and again, it came up with a faint line, but a little darker.

Test was cheap so going to get a better one and again do tomorrow morning.

Just thought I would update you. :)

A line is a line! You are pregnant! Congratulations! Early days obviously so fingers crossed for a sticky bean x

SpottyTeacakes · 07/08/2012 07:17

Have been lurking. Definitely pregnant! Congratulations Smile

I have a friend who was getting negatives then very faint for over a week. When she went for her scan it turned put she wasn't as far along as she thought as she must have ovulated late.

ValiumQueen · 07/08/2012 08:28

Even though it was a cheap test, a line is a line is a line. Great that it is getting darker. I am guessing it is a bit of a shock after trying for years. Is it your first positive test ever?

seabuckthorn · 07/08/2012 08:29

Another lurker here... an excited one because I think you are pregnant!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 07/08/2012 08:43

A line is a line! Docs did a test for me as they were about to send me for fertility tests and it was 'around that time' and even they couldn't work out if it was a real line or not (so so faint but def something there)! I am now 21 weeks with a little wriggler!

Congratulations!

LauraPalmer · 07/08/2012 09:07

Wahoo Lord - you're updiffed! What lovely news. Many congratulations!

May you have a happy, non-eventful pregnancy. Smile

LordOfThe5Rings · 07/08/2012 10:01

Yes first ever positive.

Excited but keeping low key as not out of the woods yet!

OP posts:
ValiumQueen · 07/08/2012 10:09

Oh yes, a long way to go, but a major first! I was told at 26 I would never be able to have children following a miscarriage which was badly managed and resulted in major infection and scarring. I had my first at 37, another at 40, and due DC3 in Oct at age 43.

You are allowed to be happy you know Grin I do hope in 8 months time you have a little one in your arms x

LauraPalmer · 07/08/2012 12:04

I'm another one who has had a long,
painful and complicated path to motherhood - I'm now pregnant with my 1st at 38.

I know it's hard to allow yourself to get too excited in the early days, but I hope you take a moment and more to do a little dance of joy.

LordOfThe5Rings · 07/08/2012 12:24

OK have taken another test - £8 one instead of £2.50 one.

Within a minute it came back as - PREGNANT.

I am so :o about this thought I would not be able to have kids, no idea why.

However, not out of the woods yet so keeping stress levels low and eating the right stuff and seeing the doctor tomorrow.

Thanks for all your help! :)

It is much easier to accept when it is written in words isn't it? Have you told anyone in RL? Really chuffed for you! Don't forget your folic acid, and enjoy not feeling sick, because chances are you will very soon!

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 07/08/2012 12:31

Delighted for you Grin

ValiumQueen · 07/08/2012 12:32

CONGRATULATIONS Lordofthe5Rings, that is fantastic news! Enjoy it. :)

Iheartpasties · 07/08/2012 12:38

oh wow !!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

LordOfThe5Rings · 07/08/2012 12:41

I have been feeling sick for past 3 or 4 days now, Valum. As well as missed period, it was one of the main reasons I thought I might be pregnant.

Plenty of oranges and that then? OK cool.
