Well, in the next 2 weeks you will have a scrummy newborn. Dah dah! It will all be over by the 11th :)

Cheekychops84 · 27/07/2012 09:43

The 11th oh good I can live with that thought I thought they leave u for 2 weeks?

OP posts:
AKMD · 27/07/2012 09:48

That would be 42 weeks. Say the 12th then :)

twofurryones · 27/07/2012 09:58

They do say that the darkest hour comes just before dawn, there is definitely a way out one way or the other and your baby will be with you really soon Smile

sparklekitty · 27/07/2012 10:39

Book an expensive haircut/beauty treatment. Sods law says labour will start before you can make it :)

In all serious tho, I'm only 31 weeks and feeling pretty massive and gross so I can imagine how uncomfortable you must be x

Cheekychops84 · 27/07/2012 12:13

Ha ha yes feeling hooooooge jus went for a half hour walk over the fields but was creepy over there so we virtually ran back !

Definitely in the same boat - 39 weeks, been praying for baby to turn up every day since turned 37 weeks but genuinely just can't imagine it happening at all - I've had not one sign at all. No braxtons, nothing. SPD killing me, sitting on the sofa, miserable, in pain, all day too. Don't know what I'm going to do if actually get to 40 next week and still nothing. I know it happens and people go overdue all the time, but time is just going sooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly... :(

Hpbp · 27/07/2012 13:54

Feeling the same, 39 weeks, barely no contractions, cervix dilated by 2cm since Wed, lost mucus plug yesterday but nothing else.... This heat is killing me too, can't sleep, breathless, praying for delivery soon, please please please. Have been drinking raspberry leave and sage infusion, had sex ! And nothing. Guess have to wait. Never thought I would be looking forward to delivery...
Good luck everyone.

Rachel130690 · 27/07/2012 14:08

I'm 34+4 days and this is how I feel.. I hope it happens quickly and soon for you. I still have 6+ weeks to wait. :(

Cheekychops84 · 27/07/2012 17:06

Cheekychops84 · 27/07/2012 18:44

Hi Tamzo yes still here! I have bought a pineapple! Walked quite a bit today too getting some strong braxtons but nothing frequent I'd say one every 1-2 hours :(( come on baby !

Hello Ladies - can I join your moan?

I am 38 wks today, due 10th Aug. Am so fed up, it's unbelievable. This is DC3 and I spend all day waddling round the house after DC 1 and 2, clutching my bottle of Gaviscon. Heavily pregnant + summer school holidays = bad plan.

DH mega stressed at work, trying to finish project before baby arrives and we usually meet in bed at midnight when he switches off his laptop and I'm up for my second of six pees of the night.

Have to wear muy sexy varicose vein support tights all day long and basically can't go outside, as would die of heat exhaustion. Hmm

I'm having a sweep on my due date in a fortnight - how did life get to the stage where I'm counting the days to a strange lady sticking her hand hand up my hoo-ha and wiggling it about???

Off to re-watch Glee and eat some Galaxy. x

Cheekychops84 · 27/07/2012 19:32

Hello basil brush. Yes I am too thinking bad plan r.e school holidays! Thought oh how handy I will be on maternity leave so no childcare to sort an I can have loadsa fun with them boy was I wrong! We are all bored stiff kids nag nag nag to go to farms and swimming and beach and I'm too scared to stray too far now! To top it off we have the prospect if possibly moving in 6 weeks! Must b mad !

I'm 39 wks on Tuesday with DC2. I finish work on Monday and my Obstetrician gets back from holiday on Wednesday, so although am bloody uncomfortable due to the string bean (only 6.5lbs but 80th centile femur) having it's foot in my ribs, I also don't want to be early. I'm mentally aiming for next Friday (3rd).

Had a few "is this it?" moments over the last week, but think that might just be as the baby is fully engaged so lots of pressure.

GemmaPomPom · 28/07/2012 07:07

Yep, me too. I am 30 weeks, massive, completely knackered (even though I don't do anything) and sweltering in 110 degrees heat.

Can I ask, is anybody else completely exhausted? I am not sure if this is normal.

Cheekychops84 · 28/07/2012 08:37

Well I was up till 12 pm with quite strong braxton's then woke up this an with nothing! Baby seems to engage nd disengage a lot one minute my bump is low then is back up nrly round my neck ! I dnt think I can hold out anither week ! May have to do the castor oil thing haha

I really do have to pack my hospital bag as well. I've kind of randomly chucked some stuff in a bag, but I haven't properly gone through it to make sure I have everything.

Cheekychops84 · 28/07/2012 13:58

Oooooh I packed mine a while ago wishful thinking I think ha ha

OP posts:
Cheeseandonioncrisps · 28/07/2012 15:45

Yes it's my first, what about you? My latest complaint is waking up with numb hands which then become very painful, lasted for about 3hours last night :( x

Cheeseandonioncrisps · 28/07/2012 15:54

Sorry cheekychops just realised this is baby number 3 for you! Lack of sleep has turned my brain to mush.........Blush

Superslinger · 28/07/2012 16:04
