Just a bit of fun - when did you have your first?

I'm 39+1 and waiting for my daughter to arrive, my 1st baby!

I know they come when they're ready, but when did your first arrive?

I'm hoping I won't have to wait much longer

I had mine after being induced 40+9. Everything had been ready from 30 weeks since everyone thought she would come early.

Only good part of being induced was that the end was in sight and I was only in labor for 2 hours!

Was induced as waters leaking.

Good luck - I know those last days pass soooo slowly but try to enjoy them even a tiny bit if you can!

2nd at 37 weeks exactly.

While they were both technically term, neither was ready, particularly ds. I have a shoddy pelvis and my waters break a wee bit early due to malpositioning. Both vernix covered, curled up and uninterested in being here for a few weeks. Doc said they both would have benefitted from a couple more weeks gestation.

Lots of luck try and get loads of rest in the final stretch. I look back fondly to my first pregnancy lazing in bed with the cat.
Wasn't quite the same for the next pregnancy Grin

I had DS1 on his due date. This was after a nit-picking consultant changed the date from the 27th to the 28th of August. They were right! Grin

It was either 38+6 or 39+6, i was never sure of my due date.

2 friends due on the same date went 2 weeks over too, it was kind of nice that we were all pissed off together. One was induced, one went into labour naturally and managed to have a home water birth Envy.

I had two due dates - one NHS and one private - he arrived on his private date. (The boy has class)

40+18. In hosp from 40+12, induced 4 times, c-section planned then waited for as emergencies in front, by the time I got there I had dilated, so went natural for 12 hours or so until 10cm, then her head got stuck... So emergency c-section.
Thing is, it's all such an exciting journey, however it happens.
Birth plans are ridiculous; I never had one for number 1 and I'm bloody glad I didn't...

Was due for my second 3 days ago... This waiting game is tough!
