Just a bit of fun - when did you have your first?

I'm 39+1 and waiting for my daughter to arrive, my 1st baby!

I know they come when they're ready, but when did your first arrive?

I'm hoping I won't have to wait much longer

39+4 here. Was so pleased I didn't go over

39+1 and 39+4

I went into labour at 40+4 and gave birth at 40+6. I really enjoyed my pregnancy until I hit 40 weeks and immediately felt terribly overdue and impatient (not helped by all the "well-wishers" texting for news from the moment I hit 40 weeks).

Hope you are more patient than me. It's definitely a very exciting time and a lovely time of year to be giving birth. Best of luck!

I had both of mine at 40+4.

In my case DD1 looked overcooked and with DD2 was told my placenta was gritty.

1st dd was 8 days early, 2nd dd 3 weeks early.

Due date

I went into labour in the AM of my due date and then proceeded to be in labour for 70 hours, which ended in a c-section!! Thank goodness for drugs and amazing midwives! (and DH shocking himself on the TENS machine ). Completely worth it though to see my little boy, all 8lb 5oz and no hair - he also peed all Orr me when they lifted him over the sheet for me to see him!

Millystar to answer the question of what they did before they could induce you years ago... They left you until you gave birth!

Seriously, someone I know was born a month after her due date. Her DM had a horrible time bless her

I'm all for being able to decide whether or not to be induced but for me, I was more than ready and couldn't imagine the pain she went through.
