I did a thread like this in conception
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1394415-TTC-Hysterics-thread

I found it very helpful, and I think others did too.
Pg is such a stressful time full of worry anxieties from the very serious to the very silly.
We all all need a safe place to vent these worries without judgement or made to feel guilty.
Soooooo..
Let the Hysterics Commense!.

I lurked on your thread whilst I was in the middle of my 2WW! 6 plus 2. And apart from tiredness feeling really good which worries me - with my other 2 DC's I felt rotten. Wish I felt crapper as it would feel more real. Stupid I know! Told the in-laws today which was nice.

You too Smile. You are so right, until scan day (8th May) I am going to feel too well or not well enough! How are you?

Hoebag · 26/03/2012 12:06

yep true the before scan days are very anxious,

I have no scan date yet dont even have a mw

Brockle · 26/03/2012 12:12

I bypassed the doctor and went direct to the community midwives which we can do in my area. A bit easier than having to see a Doctor.

Hey ladies, got my BFP yesterday and confirmed this morning on a CB digital. I only got my LH surge 2 weeks ago, so I realise that I am in the very early stages of pregnancy. Although a doctor would call this '4 weeks' cos my period was due on Saturday and didn't show up, I know for a fact it's more like a week and a half.

Anyway i had an early MC in Jan at just shy of 6 weeks, so am terrified of losing this PG as well. I was attracted to this thread by the word 'hysterics', ha ha.

I have a quick question: how did you all feel in the days following your BFPs? Did your 'symptoms' come and go a bit? I ask cos for the 2-3 days leading up to getting the BFP, and all day afterwards, I had mild period style cramps. I had these the whole (short) time I was PG in January too. Anyway, they seem to have vanished now, and I am panicking about the fact that I feel absolutely fine Confused

Would you says it's normal to have very early symptoms like cramps fluctuate a bit, from day to day? It doesn't necessarily mean 'game over' cos the cramps have disappeared today, does it? Other than the cramps, I hadn't had any other symptoms, so I found them strangely reassuring. Now I'm like where have they gooonnne???

Hoebag · 26/03/2012 16:14

How do you find the numbers brockle?

I had those feelings dangermousey I still do I was basically bedridden yesterday so horrificilly ill, and today ..i feel normal.

I had that 'is something wrong coz I feel ok' then in 2 or 3 days I have MS with a vengeanace praying to be well again.

Congratualations btw.

Hoebag · 26/03/2012 16:16

I'm sorry about your miscarriage,

I announced my pregnancy to my close mates only for one to tell me she's suffered one 2 weeks before my announcment I didn't know I felt dreadful.

Brockle · 26/03/2012 17:11

cakelover75 · 26/03/2012 18:12

Can I join the BFP hysterics?!!
I'm only 4 weeks (and a day or 2) and my friends have a boozy lunch arranged for the 7th April. I will only be 6 weeks gone by then and I don't want to tell them but if I don't drink they'll know...

Maybe I could have a virus or something....

DangerMousey, I'm analysing every niggle and ache (quite a few) as I still can't believe that I'm pregnant. I just want the next couple of weeks to fly by.

Anyways, congrats to us all!

kirrinIsland · 27/03/2012 09:23

Congrats to the newbies :)

danger I also had a mmc in Jan, and I'm now 7 weeks. I find myself analyzing ever jiggle and, tbh, I don't think I'll stop worrying til the baby's here. Your symptoms sound perfectly normal, and I think most people's come and go a bit. Like hoe my sickness is bad one day and non-existent the next and it's freaking me out!
Can you get an early scan? I had one yesterday and everything looked fine :) and I've got another at 9 weeks too - my EPU is awesome!

kirrinIsland · 27/03/2012 09:24
  • niggle - bloody iPad :)
Hoebag · 27/03/2012 09:26

Congrats on all the BFP's :)

i've noticed alot of ppl announcing pg on fb before scan eekk! I think I'd be too scared.

Hoebag · 27/03/2012 09:27

Ooh you had a scan?? when are you do??

why did you have an early one?

Hoebag · 27/03/2012 09:35
