Hi all!! Found out I was pregnant 2 days ago and doing the sums , I am currently 4-5 weeks pregnant.

I've getting stomach cramps for the last 11 days. They are very much like AF cramps. They are not severe but enough for me to notice and feel uncomfortable.

Has anyone experienced or experiencing this? Shoul I be worried? I haven't had any bleeding at all so I guess thats one good thing.....

it's normal, on our November due date thread I think we pretty much all had it early on, some still are :) as long as there's no bleeding and it's not proper pain just twingy discomfort it's fine.

I'm 4-5 weeks too. I've been having an odd right rib thing and I feel like af is coming. And i get twinges when i carry something heavy, but I think it's all normal. Where's the November thread? I looked but couldn't find anything.

congratulations thechick and candypop im currently 6 weeks tomorrow and i still get cramps ect.... but please do try not to carry heavy things it is something i would try to avoid. but all these things are normal

PopcornMouseInBoots · 16/03/2012 09:19

Yep, normal - I even asked my GP about it and she said not to worry unless it was accompanied by spotting. Mine carried on til about 8 weeks :)

Ah that's really good to hear. Nice reassurance. Ah Thechick, we're gonna have very close due dates !!

Definitely will take your advice jaylee89. I now have a real excuse not to carry anything :)

I will join the November thread soon, just don't feel quite ready! Needs to sink in a bit more first!

When did you all see your doctor ? I hear some ppl pay extra to do a 6 week scan. I would love to do that to have ease of mind.

Was thinking telling parents after 6 weeks plan but now thinking I can't hold in another 2 weeks and wouldn't it be a nice mothers day present to our mums??!

Jaylee89.....noooo nothing too heavy, but everything feels heavy at the moment even the kettle when full and some of our pots and pans.I do have to keep reminding myself that I do need to take things easy.

OMGBFP - thank you so much for the link. Ive had a little lurk. Will introduce myself soon.

Candypop - I have an appointment with the doctor a week on Saturday, but I don't think you see the midwife until 10 or 12 weeks. I just want to tell everyone, I have to hold myself back.

as i had mc last january and have only just concieved after just over a yr of trying im hoping they will scan me at about 8 weeks due to pcos also. hope everything goes well for everyone.

thechick i know what you mean everything seems heavy my 5 yr old DD seems like she weighs about 15 stone. lol but i try and have her sitting on my lap now rather than picking her up. hopefully when i get to 12 weeks i will stop knicker checking constantly and start enjoying this pregnancy rather than driving myself completely bloody insane lol!. xxx
