anyone else? Wouldn't it be just the greatest pick up line for the LO? My brother suggested "I was born under the love sign" :o

Also, DS is still kicking me as hard as ever. The little so and so isn't aware that he's supposed to calm down!
nighcap beanypip where are you both?

OP posts:
Beanypip · 17/02/2012 23:07

He's just letting you know he's still comfy in there lol. Since my sweep yesterday mines been really active where normally she's so lazy.

Do u mean where abouts in the world we are? Im in Sunderland. X

nightcap · 19/02/2012 10:13

Argh, still nothing... Anyone else??

nightcap · 19/02/2012 10:44

and sorry for radio silence the last couple of days - had an up-all-night false labour thing on friday (you'd think with a second baby i'd know the difference, but no) so was zombied out all day yesterday. hope something happened for you guys in the meantime!

Beanypip · 19/02/2012 11:16

Nope nothing here either! Just keep telling myself 4 days! Just 4 little tiny days at the most and then I don't quite go as mental lol

Poor you bet you go excited that you was finally going to meet your little munchkin. Hopefully not much longer for you!

Got a feeling they might all come on the same day lol good luck! X

melliebobs · 19/02/2012 12:46

Due today, no signs of anything and starting to have a lil wobble ConfusedSad

MiauMau · 19/02/2012 13:41

melliebobs welcome to the "waiting room" :o
Same old, same old here too! Gone for a massive walk, going for another one this afternoon. It's such a beautiful day, that I just cannot waist it. Especially as yesterday I was stuck in doors.
Been getting more of those niggling period like cramps, but they don't last long. I'm hoping that the new moon will help drawing him out!! It worked with my mum when she was waiting for my sister to be born, she says that all the babies in the ward were born that night including the ones that weren't meant to.
Beanpip how was the sweep? Was it very uncomfortable? I refused it last Wednesday but, will accept it this week.
By the way, I'm in London.

Hi melliebobs. Hope u don't have to wait as long as us! We all been waiting for 5-7 days lol.

The sweep was uncomfy but not really painfull having another one tomorrow. I just saw it as it can't be worse than having her in me for another week so I went for it lol going for a walk as well this afternoon see if I can evict her quicker than Thursday! She was roughly 8lb 3 3 weeks ago so I'm dreading her weight now Sad

Hope the moon brings them all out! Keep us updated x

MiauMau · 19/02/2012 14:08

8lb 3?! What percentile is that? You deserve all the candy in the world, but, they could still be wrong, you know.
Mine was 4lb exactly at the 32 weeks scan (50 percentile), but I'm dreading what all of my mum's home cooking and baking is doing to DS now.

Beanypip · 19/02/2012 15:26

Her heads above the 95th and her body is in the 95 th but apparently she has little legs! The thing is though I've lost weight so no idea how she's so big! Lol I'm hoping my walk I just had works otherwise im dragging the DH upstairs to try that! Lol

Hopefully one of us will get going soon! Might spur the others on lol x

MiauMau · 19/02/2012 16:20

My sister's baby was also meant to be in the 95 percentile, but turned out just to be chubby and not that big.
Just came back from a 2 mile walk, had a shorter walk this morning. The other coff, coff... method is a bit more complicated as my mum is staying with us :o

OP posts:
Beanypip · 19/02/2012 16:23

I'm sure your mum wouldn't mind if it means she gets to meet her grandchild quicker! Grin hopefully the walk worked for you how did you manage 2 miles?! I managed to the shops and back (half a mile all in if lucky!) and nearly died lol

MiauMau · 19/02/2012 16:52

Honestly I don't know where I'm getting the energy to do it! I am pretty tired now and my feet are now as wide as they are long, I just want to get over and done with it.

OP posts:
Beanypip · 19/02/2012 17:10

Relax for the rest of the day get OH to run around after you Grin that's my plan. Settle down to watch something and LO might make an appearance. In expecting to go in labour just as my pizza arrives lol

Bookstart · 19/02/2012 19:03

i tried the big walk approach today too - we're in brighton so it was lovely down along the seafront, but still hasn't turned into anything labour-y! pizza and movie sounds pretty good to me though, maybe i'll try that too... really hope it kicks off for you all tonight! x

MiauMau · 19/02/2012 19:10

Keeping my fingers and toes cross for everyone. Even I my LO doesn't show up tonight, I would at least feel happy if any of you could get your mitts on yours :)

OP posts:
Beanypip · 19/02/2012 21:23

How far over due are you bookstart?

Having a few niggles and tightening but don't think it's going to lead anywhere. Hoping my sweep tomorrow works.

Please come out baby! (same to all the other ones on the thread) x

nightcap · 20/02/2012 07:50

ah, whoops - that 'bookstart' post was me (old username logged in funny). nothing again for me overnight, hope it was better for you...

MiauMau · 20/02/2012 09:53

Same here :(
Had pineapple and pineapple juice this morning, going for a walk in a little while.

Nothing for me either. Waiting for midwife to come for my second sweep. Think I had the show earlier so I'm hoping this sweep works!

nightcap · 20/02/2012 10:21

Exciting, beanypip, good luck!! Isn't it funny when you get excited about a bit of mucous (eeuuuww)... Hope it happens for you today. I'm out walking like miaumau, am trying to get midwife to fit me in for a sweep today as have run out of patience and don't think i want to wait till thurs anymore! Keep us posted if you can manage it... X

Beanypip · 20/02/2012 12:01

So midwife came and couldnt do sweep but baby wasn't happy so here I am sat in the day assessment unit waiting to go on a monitor. Midwife wants them to keep me in for induction as will need the tablet Sad hope u 2 are ok

Beanypip · 20/02/2012 13:00

So babies heartbeat was ok so sent me home. Go to go back to ward on Wednesday for tablets ready for induction of thursday. Pretty fed up feel a bit useless . How come I can't go in labour on my own! Sad

MiauMau · 20/02/2012 15:38

Beanypip Please don't blame yourself, you've done nothing wrong. I wish you good luck!

OP posts:
nightcap · 20/02/2012 15:49

oh, sorry to hear that beanypip, that's crap. but that still gives you another few days in case the baby decides to turn up of its own accord, and if not then you know you can get things going on thurs.

i managed to get in to see the midwife this afternoon for a sweep, wasn't much fun but done now, so will see if that helps - otherwise back to see her on thurs to talk about other options. these are some stubborn babies!
