I am worried sick. My sister has been taken to hospital as she is losing fluid. She is only just 24 weeks

She has had a stressful pregnancy. She has had bleeding problems from the start but every scan has showed that baby & placenta is ok. She is now just 24 weeks and has been losing fluid since 1pm today. She says she can still feel it moving around.

I am out of my mind with worry. The baby will be too little to stand a good chance of survival.

My little nephew was taken off the ventilator & put on CPAP. He had a settled night on it so fingers crossed. He also did his first poo today!

That's excellent news! I haven't posted before but have been thinking of you, your sister and your nephew. You are all doing so well!

My sister has just contacted me to say they have moved my nephew to another room for babies that need less help!

Only on MN would people cheer a wee and a poo!!

Hurray! That's blooming brilliant! So pleased.

He has got a lovely name but would not put it on here without my sister's permission. He really is a little trooper!

DP & I had exactly same scenario, everything turned out ok, DD2 turned up after 41 weeks fit and well.

:o soooo pleAsed pink and yes agreed fab only here would poop be such a wonderful thing! Really happy to hear he's doing so well!!!!

My sister has just sent me some gorgeous photos. They took him off cpap for a while & she had her first cuddle.

She is not too bad thanks. She is pleased he has been making good progress and loved having a long cuddle with him today. He has another head scan tomorrow so fingers crossed for that.

Been lurking on this thread and just caught up - huge congrats to all of you! Your nephew is one tough little boy and clearly gets it from his mum :D she should be so proud. She saved his life. I don't know if I could have thought that quickly in the circumstances, she must have been terrified. I'm so glad they're doing well!

Great news that he's been promoted. I remember when dd was transferred to a less intensive room - such a great feeling.
