She has had a stressful pregnancy. She has had bleeding problems from the start but every scan has showed that baby & placenta is ok. She is now just 24 weeks and has been losing fluid since 1pm today. She says she can still feel it moving around.

I am out of my mind with worry. The baby will be too little to stand a good chance of survival.Sad

She is not doing too bad. She told me last night that she feels more comfortable around him now & has been stroking him & talking to him without breaking down.
He has had two wet nappies now too!Grin

:o to the wet nappies. And the time together will sooo help him in many ways. Glad she's getting to see him being together is the best medicine he could get! :)

BIWI · 16/03/2012 12:46

That sounds promising! I'm glad she is with him.

Kayzr · 16/03/2012 13:08

That is really good! I am so pleased to hear that he's had wet nappies and that your sister is finding it easier to be around him.

Fingers crossed that he continues to go from strength to strength.

Pinkchampagne · 16/03/2012 13:19

She said the doctor came to see her today & said that everyone was talking about them & how well my sister did to get on all fours etc. She said it made her feel better & less guilty about what happened. I told her she should be proud of herself rather than feel guilty, as she saved her little boy's life!Smile

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 16/03/2012 14:09

CelticPromise · 16/03/2012 23:24

Oh how brilliant. Yay for wet nappies! She can get some really good info from bliss.org.uk and there is a helpful message board too. Thinking of you all.

Methe · 17/03/2012 10:08

You sister really must not feel guilty, not one jot!

Pinkchampagne · 17/03/2012 10:32

He had a more unsettled day yesterday. His little lungs filled with fluid & he had a small bleed on his brain.Sad It is all such a worry. Still waiting to hear from my sister to see how he is today.

What a difficult time for you all. Thinking of you Sad

Methe · 17/03/2012 11:21

Its a real shame the bliss board is down at the moment as it is such an invaluble source of support for prem mummys. I think they are building a new message board so hopefully it will be back up soon.

I hope today brings better news :)

Pinkchampagne · 17/03/2012 22:27

I went to see her today & was allowed to see the baby too. Was shocked at how very tiny he was. He is like a baby bird. He is more settled today (touch wood) but has his brain scan tomorrow. Just got to hope and pray.
