I know it's slightly sad strange to admit but I love One Born Every Minute and can't wait for the new series to start tomorrow.

I'll be watching even though I'm 30 weeks pregnant and it's bound to put the fear of god into me, will you?

'MRS DRAMATIC' i think we must be mindfull how big the shoulders of that baby were and she may have been pushing with all her might but it was 10lb 10oz and from what i gathered she was in labour for a long time lack of sleep and labour are not a good mix! although i felt is was ridiculous her getting into such a state and causing the baby stress! there is no need for screaming and shouting surley???
pushing is very very hard work when a baby will not come out for whatever reason i pushed so hard i went purple and i caused a bleed but the baby still needed forceps my dd was on 6lb 11oz but i was absloutley knackering esp as i was in labour for 24 hours.
its hard to be absloutly sure when we see the edited version i suppose??
but all that saod i love OBEM!!

i think we all experience pain and labour differently and as for saying she wasnt pushing hard enough! come on, she was knackered and had had an epidural which doesnt help, plus baby had shoulder dysotcia, doesnt matter how hard you push if baby is stuck its stuck!

i birthed fairly quietly other than mooing like a wounded bison Blush but am also aware i was lucky enough to have straightforward 'easy' births, even ds4 who was 10lb 13oz was born in birth pool with no active pushing by me, my body just did it.

yes she was loud but she was panicking and had had an awful experience previously, tbh i think she could have done with some counselling or a meeting with a midwife to go over her previous birth before the next labour so that she could feel more positive and in control this time round. and yes she had had lots of contractions and not much happening so lots of pre labour which is exhausting. i was just glad baby was fine ti was scary when he got stuck!
